Razor romance
Are you asking
editAre you asking how to create a sub-page and link it, how to link the normal pages, or how to link external pages? --16:01, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
- Oh, I think you might be talking about creating articles for each of the singles by H.I.M.. See: Help:Starting_a_new_page for a guide on how to do this. As for just linking wikipedia pages it works like this [[target page name]] and external pages link like this [http://www.websiteurl.com caption]. Hope this helps. --Wildnox 20:40, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
<<unblock|his reason is invilad in that he says pest. i have not contacted him because i do not have access to email my proxy settings will not allow it and i cannot post on his page to ask him why he blocked me. i think that this was a prank and i request that this be fixed. thank you for your help.>>
I've contacted the blocking administrator for comment; in the meantime, please bear with us, and thank you for your patience. Luna Santin 19:25, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
- It appears that the block was made after Razor Romance recreated a page after the admin deleted it. [1] The admin then blocked Razor Romance without warning or so much as a talk message. --Wildnox 20:18, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
Blocking
editSorry about the block I imposed on you. I was clearly too hasty in this case both to decide that the repeat creation was malicious, or, for that matter, that the content was anything more than a feeble effort. I do sometimes block without warning when clearly offensive material involving obscenity, racism or personal attacks are recreated, since that amounts to vandalism, but that doesn't apply in this case, and I was clearly wrong to take the action I did without a warning first. My apologies, jimfbleak 05:18, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
- I've actually blocked this guy - there's a prior warning on his talk page and I checked his contributions, which are childish nonsense. Could you have a look at Waylon Mclennan please - he's been at this, but I don't know what's wrong, if anything. jimfbleak 17:30, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
- It's nonsense, and now gone. jimfbleak 17:31, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

editImproving the HIM article
editHi, I have had a quick look around HIM and its subpages. Citations are something that that I value highly- I would work on finding appropriate citations- specifically, I am talking about citing the Heartagram section, which is an interesting feature of the band, and it is important to have correct information on it, and the album pages, which are easy enough to cite, so I don't know why there are ever album articles without citations. Also, I would personally move the 'Name confusion' section up to before the 'History' section, and expand it to explain everything that the band has been known as. As far as band pages go, I would say that it looked pretty good at the moment, but beware of vandalism, or people adding their own opinions into the article. If you can't find a source for something, tag it as needing a citation, and bring up the matter on the talk page. If a citation is not soon found, then it might well be best to remove it. Message me if I can be of any help. J Milburn 16:55, 18 January 2007 (UTC)

Newsradio
editHey, there. Regarding your question on Mikey Way being a cast member on Newsradio:
"He and Gerard are maternal second cousins of Joe Rogan, host of the NBC game/stunt show Fear Factor and former cast member of the sitcom News Radio"
I think you've just misinterpreted this passage. It's saying that Joe Rogan was a cast member of Newsradio, not Mikey Way.Raymondluxuryacht 18:31, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
Mediation of karate article
editCan you tell me where the confidential mediation takes place? I've left comments on the article talk page. Thanks.melonbarmonster 21:36, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
- no need, karate talk page is fine.melonbarmonster 16:55, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
On a releated point - are you aware that only members of the Mediation Committee, as !voted in, can take MEDCOM cases? At the moment, you appear to be, with respect, unqualified for the job at hand, and I would suggest that you leave the case until you have more experience, and allow a member of the committee to take the case. Thanks, Martinp23 23:14, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

Eagle Scout Category on Clive Cussler Page
editHello, thank you for your input on the Clive Cussler page. If you are going to re-add the category link to Eagle Scout (which I see you have done) please do more than add the link. Please add a line or two to the biography section (or trivia if you prefer) adding this information so it not just a mysterious link at the bottom of the page (which is what got it deleted in the first place). Also, please add a citation to the notes section citing the book, publisher, page, etc. so others will not delete your category link again. Thanks!--Ulysses411 01:43, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
WikiProject HIM
editI fixed up the project page some to make it more neat. I'm sorry though, because I am departing Wikipedia for an indefinite amount of time and I won't be able to participate like I used to. Good luck with the WikiProject! — Moe 21:54, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
Hey. I have created some kind of banner at Template:WikiProject HIM. I found a free image for it, but I'm not very familiar with HIM, so I don't know which image would suit the banner best (note that the image must be free, so that it can be used outside main namespace). I didn't add an assessment part to the template, as the scope of the project is pretty small. I also created Category:WikiProject HIM articles and Category:WikiProject HIM. All articles that have been tagged to the project can be found on these. I have tagged the main article's talk page with it, and everything seems to be working. I'll create the userbox later. You can ask me if you have any questions. Thanks, Prolog 18:38, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
- OK, the userbox is here: Template:User WikiProject HIM. The image in it is not very good, so try to see if you can find a better one somewhere, as well as feel free to change the colors and the look of the template. Prolog 19:02, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
I think I finally figured it out...
editLOL So I just wanted to stop by and say hello Jason. And just to let you know - on my way to the ER. Dont worry, I think everything is ok... problem with my finger - it is swollen and red and tender to touch... have to go have it looked at.

Hi. I was wondering if you would be interested in contributing articles to Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic)? It needs contributors to increase diversity of content from different countries and bring about large scale improvements. The idea at some point will be to host a National Contest related to your country of interest. Thanks. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 13:15, 21 September 2016 (UTC)
Asian 10,000 Challenge invite
editHi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 02:23, 21 October 2016 (UTC)
Europe 10,000 Challenge invite
editHi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:09, 7 November 2016 (UTC)
