Things we still need to do:

• The lead- all wikipedia articles start with a lead section which summarises the main points of the article. I've added a lead but it's quite short at the moment- feel free to edit it or add to it.
• Pictures - are lovely but I think we have too many for the length of the article at the moment, they're making it look cluttered. Pick your least favorite 2 or 3 to remove (or add lots more text to balance them out). The remaining ones need captions, maybe saying when/where the concert was, or who the performers were. I've added a caption box to the first couple so you can see how to do it.
• References - you've done a great job finding so many sources. To be most useful for the reader, and for other editors who want to verify the article, we should format some of them as inline citations, like putting the reference about the Rome concert next to the bit where the article mentions Rome, which I just did. If some of them don't have an obvious place to go, we can leave those at the bottom in an "additional sources" section.

Once those are sorted I think it will be ready for mainspace glory :)

I've just noticed that some of the text is quite closely paraphrased from this webpage http://www.septemberconcert.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=46&Itemid=88&lang=en Due to wikipedia's rules on copyright, it'll need to be rewritten more in our own words. There is a procedure for donating copyrighted material to wikipedia, which we can do if Haruko Smith (presuming she originally wrote the text) is willing. Also, articles aren't meant to promote a particular organisation or advertise it - rather, they're supposed to give an objective and unbiased account. Thanks. I will post what I did here so you can see the changes i made. One suggestion is to use the edit summary box. It's not critical, it's just considered a good practice as it helps other editors know how an article changed when they view its page history. Most of what I've done was clean up and reformating references to make it easier to work on the artilce.

• I changed the formating of the references to make it easier to work on both the references and the article. You can see the changes here.
• I added an "External links" section and a navigation box. You can see those changes here.
• I also did a bunch of updates to the individuals references. You can see them by going to the history page and clicking "prev" in the (cur | prev) area on the left-hand side of the list.

A lot of this can be confusing, so you don't need to master this stuff. It's just good to be aware of. I can work on the body of the article tomorrow if you like. - Hydroxonium (H₃O⁺) 12:31, 7 February 2011(UTC)

Dear Physics and Hydroxonium (isn't that molecule quite unstable? Or just rare and interactive? :))Thank you both again. I wish the writing of my science manuscripts could be this interactive with my reviewers! The page looks very good to me and yes any other changes you both want to make is fine with me. Not quite sure I'm getting all the parameters straight as of yet (e.g., is it best to put my responses to your "talk" on my page (like this) or yours?; reference formatting, etc.)but will continue to muddle along. I want to add a few video links so people can get a sense of what these concerts sound like, so are youtube video links ok? Anyway, will check back later today. I guess we all have day jobs but this I must say has been quite exhilerating. Even edited a few pages that had quite a biased description of my own scientific work. • My "capable hands" are actually arthritic. I'm a newbie just like several million other users that edit here.
• You're doing great. There's a million things people can learn about writing good articles on Wikipedia, but a lot of it is not required. You have all the basic requirements and much of the advanced stuff already.
• Replying on this talk page is good for me, but not necessary. Usually people like to keep the conversation in one place. If you would like to reply at my talk page, you are more than welcome.
• You can add YouTube links to the "External links" section as long as they don't violate copyright laws. You can read the guideline here.

The reference formatting you used is much much better, I see. Added one more for a link to September 2009 concert clips, using the new format. Forgot to put the change description but will try and keep that in mind next time. I noticed that when I went back to edit it would tell me I was not on the current page. Is that because your modification doesn't show in my list of changes? So until I make another change, I just keep going back to the "current" version,, stored I suspect on your list? Everybody's modifications show up in the "history" list. Yep, we (you, me, everybody) always edit the "current" version. We just use the old version to see what it used to look like and to fix things if something gets messed up. Best regards. - Hydroxonium (H₃O⁺) 22:02, 7 February 2011 (UTC)

I added a few more external links and dates to the pictures. Just wondering if you think it is ready for public consumption at this time. Maybe you could tell me how to move the page, as I would like to try it myself if possible. Rbid1 (talk) 21:11, 8 February 2011 (UTC)

I added some stuff and another reference, grouped the info in to sections and moved the images around. Please update anything that doesn't look right. Here's how to move a page.

1. Click the little black traingle (next to the search box at the top of the page) and select "move".
2. In the To new title: box, change "User:Rbid1/September Concert" to "September Concert".
3. In the Reason: box, put "Moved to article space".
4. Click the "Move page" button.

I just noticed that a search for "september concert" does not bring up the page in the results (at least not prominently) but "the september concert" does. Anyway to change that? Rbid1 (talk) 17:42, 9 February 2011 (UTC)

Sorry, no way to change it. I beieve this happened because the page was just moved. I think in a few days (maybe 7 to 10) that the indexing for searches will have caught up by then and it will show up. Direct names always show up as they're exact matches.
