To Alansohn and MuZemike: Please refrain from making any changes to a page about someone you have no dealings with. The changes made previously were made with the consent of John Lakian himself. Mr. Lakian absolutely does not consider any of the changes I have made, under his supervision, to be considered vandalism of any kind. Nice try, though. I will continue to make changes to the John Lakian page as he see's fit. Mr. Lakian has already been in contact with Wikipedia general counsel in regard to modifications made to the John Lakian page prior to 21 June 2009. Unfortunately, I am prohibited to speak any further on the topic due to legal circumstances. Thank you. rcnyc32 (talk) 13:18, 24 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of John Lakian

edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article John Lakian, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Not notable. The article only says he ran in two elections and lost both.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
