Draft:Aniebiet Inyang Ntui
Hey, Reading Beans. Happy New Year.
I just saw your comment on the draft bio article on Aniebiet Inyang Ntui.
"I wanted to accept the draft but, I can’t." Please could you give me a reason.
I have been busy during the holidays but I am now back to editing and I have totally revised the article kindly take a look again. And based on her recent achievements and controversy. I feel that the page is now notable enough for a wiki article.

Hi Reading Beans, hope you're doing well! Since this article incorporated some text from the public domain source, I have added the {{PD-notice}} template to the citation in order to comply with our guideline about this. See Special:Diff/1133590566, let me know if you have any questions and thanks for your work! DanCherek (talk) 15:40, 14 January 2023 (UTC)
- Hello DanCherek, I’m alive and well. Thank you for the help. I was a bit skeptical about adding the notice as I’m not well versed with copyrights and public domain attribute. Once again, thank you. Best, Reading Beans (talk) 15:49, 14 January 2023 (UTC)
New Pages Patrol newsletter January 2023
Hello Reading Beans/Archives/2023,
- Backlog
The October drive reduced the backlog from 9,700 to an amazing 0! Congratulations to WaddlesJP13 who led with 2084 points. See this page for further details. The queue is steadily rising again and is approaching 2,000. It would be great if <2,000 were the “new normal”. Please continue to help out even if it's only for a few or even one patrol a day.
- 2022 Awards
Onel5969 won the 2022 cup for 28,302 article reviews last year - that's an average of nearly 80/day. There was one Gold Award (5000+ reviews), 11 Silver (2000+), 28 Iron (360+) and 39 more for the 100+ barnstar. Rosguill led again for the 4th year by clearing 49,294 redirects. For the full details see the Awards page and the Hall of Fame. Congratulations everyone!
Minimum deletion time: The previous WP:NPP guideline was to wait 15 minutes before tagging for deletion (including draftification and WP:BLAR). Due to complaints, a consensus decided to raise the time to 1 hour. To illustrate this, very new pages in the feed are now highlighted in red. (As always, this is not applicable to attack pages, copyvios, vandalism, etc.)
New draftify script: In response to feedback from AFC, the The Move to Draft script now provides a choice of set messages that also link the creator to a new, friendly explanation page. The script also warns reviewers if the creator is probably still developing the article. The former script is no longer maintained. Please edit your edit your common.js or vector.js file from User:Evad37/MoveToDraft.js
to User:MPGuy2824/MoveToDraft.js
Redirects: Some of our redirect reviewers have reduced their activity and the backlog is up to 9,000+ (two months deep). If you are interested in this distinctly different task and need any help, see this guide, this checklist, and spend some time at WP:RFD.
Discussions with the WMF The PageTriage open letter signed by 444 users is bearing fruit. The Growth Team has assigned some software engineers to work on PageTriage, the software that powers the NewPagesFeed and the Page Curation toolbar. WMF has submitted dozens of patches in the last few weeks to modernize PageTriage's code, which will make it easier to write patches in the future. This work is helpful but is not very visible to the end user. For patches visible to the end user, volunteers such as Novem Linguae and MPGuy2824 have been writing patches for bug reports and feature requests. The Growth Team also had a video conference with the NPP coordinators to discuss revamping the landing pages that new users see.

Page Indexing
Hi, Reading Bean,
Hope all is well. I have created a page recently for Mohamed Muiz which you have checked. Its having no index tags, May I know why does that happen.
Thanks Existence Leesaaisath 08:37, 22 January 2023 (UTC)
- @Leesaaisath, I did not add any no index tag to the page neither can I find one. Best, Reading Beans (talk) 10:06, 22 January 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks Reading Bean,
- I checked since usually they get indexed in few hours, and I always loved to check them. When I used support tools, I found out that that page has "noindex" tag in it. Existence Leesaaisath 10:32, 22 January 2023 (UTC)
Notability tag: Kristina Olsen
Hi Reading Beans, I note that you have just added a "Notability" tag to the page Kristina Olsen on which I have recently been doing an upgrade. I thought I had addressed the "notability" issue (previously raised) satisfactorily at both https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Requests_for_undeletion#Kristina_Olsen and, in the last day or so, at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Kristina_Olsen#Notability ... however am getting a bit tired of doing so :( To me she is notable - 4 albums on a significant indie label, inclusion in MusicHound Folk: The Essential Album Guide, plenty of citable reviews in reputable magazines... can you maybe explain why you have added the tag, if not covered by the above discussions? Thanks in advance - Tony Rees, Australia Tony 1212 (talk) 05:58, 23 January 2023 (UTC)
- @Tony 1212, I didn't know you had addressed the issue with Onel5969. Aside from the notability tag, COI/UPE smells here; I mean, there are a lot of statements that are not attributed to any source. Would you mind taking care of that? Best, Reading Beans (talk) 06:08, 23 January 2023 (UTC)
Hi, I will take another look tomorrow - I am not responsible for the original article, but have been trying to improve it... most statements now attributed I thought, but will read through again. Not aware of any COI or UPE myself . The best summary info is probably in MusicHound Folk but I do not really feel able to clone or paraphrase that directly... Tony 1212 (talk) 06:28, 23 January 2023 (UTC)
- Well then. Best, Reading Beans (talk) 06:31, 23 January 2023 (UTC)
- Folk artists are always a bit tricky cos they normally do not trouble the charts with hit records so that is not a good metric. Maybe longevity of career should be in there as a criterion but currently it is not (I.e. ability to continue to attract an audience so promoters will book them!). Just an aside really. Tony 1212 (talk) 06:42, 23 January 2023 (UTC)
- Hi Reading Beans, would you care to check this draft at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Tony_1212/sandbox to see if I have managed to improve the article sufficiently to remove the "notability" tag? I have added a bit more text that addresses "notability" (to my mind anyway), sourced a few more statements that were previously unsourced, removed a few that I could not source, and generally adjusted wording a bit to remove possible impressions of COI/UPE as previously noted. Let me know what you think - can always adjust further if required before publishing (note, no categories in the sandbox version, they are not allowed there).
- FWIW you can see the last state of the article before I decided to do my recent bit of an expansion/re-write here: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Kristina_Olsen&oldid=1134169674

New pages for Turkish villages
Dear Reading Beans,
I have already answered your comment about the concerns you had on my talk page but wanted to write here just to be sure. Many villages have at least two names, old and new, both of which may have different spellings. In one source, I have used the included map, which is formatted as an image, so it wouldn’t be possible to select any text. I think you couldn’t find the villages within the source due to one or both of these factors. If you could point out at the specific source, I could explain more in detail where the content comes from. Ayıntaplı (talk) 06:57, 23 January 2023 (UTC)
- @Ayıntaplı, pointing them out would take a lot of time. It is basically in ALL. Could you do me a favour by adding one or two more sources to the pages to basically these pages? Best, Reading Beans (talk) 10:40, 23 January 2023 (UTC)
- Hmmmm… In your comment on my talk page, you mentioned that I am using the same sources over and over again, but in many cases I don’t, so this made me even more confused. Also, in many pages, I had already added two sources per claim. I’m also not really sure if this is the source about the population figures or ethnic demographics. And there are tens of pages, so this would take me even more time than pointing one or two out, because I don’t know what to look for. Could you at least give an example? If this is about a source that I am using over and over again, one example would suffice for many. Thank you.Ayıntaplı (talk) 13:52, 23 January 2023 (UTC)
- @Ayıntaplı, this is what I'm talking about. See this and this. Then these pages, Altınpınar, Araban, Gümüşpınar, Araban and Tarlabaşı, Araban. Best, Reading Beans (talk) 15:39, 23 January 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you so much. This makes it so much clearer. The issue you're experiencing is because of Turkish characters, specifically "ı," dotless i. You should enter "Altinpinar" instead of "Altınpınar," "Gumuspinar" instead of "Gümüşpınar," and "Tarlabasi" instead of "Tarlabaşı" in your browser's "find" search bar in the first source. The second source is to show that these villages belong to the specific district and province. Ayıntaplı (talk) 16:31, 23 January 2023 (UTC)
- @Ayıntaplı, I did a copy and paste search but didn't find (I had done this before reaching out to you), but, I'll leave it to another reviewer who probably understand Turkish languages. Best, Reading Beans (talk) 10:00, 24 January 2023 (UTC)
- Maybe, there's another problem, because I can get Altınpınar by typing "Altinpinar." By the way Altınpınar, is at the bottom of the list. Ayıntaplı (talk) 14:56, 24 January 2023 (UTC)

Your draft article, Draft:South East Council of Traditional Rulers
Hello, Reading Beans. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "South East Council of Traditional Rulers".
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. When you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 15:51, 29 January 2023 (UTC)
A goat for you!
Thank you for reviewing Constitutional Court of the State of Berlin so quickly. I really appreciate it!
Zhu Haiyang undraftified by creator
Hi, I noticed you recently moved the article Zhu Haiyang to Draft:Zhu Haiyang and advised the contributing editor that the article was not ready for publishing because it is not written in an encyclopaedic tone. The contributing editor has reverted your AfC notice and moved the article back to Article space, without following the instructions you advised for a new Article for Creation. In addition to your concerns, I am not convinced that this person is sufficiently notable for their own article, because he is a perpetrator of a notable crime and only notable because of that event. I have suggested the article be rewritten as being about the murder that the article's subject committed. I am wondering if it is possible for you to review the changes that have been made to the article and take any action you deem appropriate. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 07:55, 30 January 2023 (UTC)
- @Cameron Dewe, thank you for the heads-up. I'll add it to my watchlist and change the layout to:
- Background
- Murder
- Aftermath
- Reactions
- whenever I can. In its current state, it reads like a fictional short story/news article.
PS: If I had the page movers right, I'll probably do a round-robin to move it back to draft. Best, Reading Beans (talk) 14:39, 30 January 2023 (UTC)
Nima Karami
Hello, my friend, I hope you are well. I brought the most important sources inside Iran for Nima Kerami's article, and her reputation is also clear. Unfortunately, in Iran, in Farsi Wiki, articles and users are treated in a very personal and tasteful way and they are deleted. The translation should also be done. Let me tell you that I got help from Google and I don't think it can be translated any better than this Saman1378 (talk) 14:26, 29 January 2023 (UTC)
- If he was notable, there would be reliable sources writing about him. I haven't seen any reliable source writing about him.
- And also, you can do better with the translations. You can do better. In its current state, it reads like an advertisement. Best, Reading Beans (talk) 05:55, 30 January 2023 (UTC)
The sources that I mentioned are the most important and independent sources in Iran, for every person who wants to write an article in Farsi Wiki, we must use these sources because the media power of Iran is these sources that I mentioned. Saman1378 (talk) 09:11, 31 January 2023 (UTC)
