editHello, I'm Ruy. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Ruy (talk) 15:23, 27 December 2022 (UTC)
Contested deletion
editDear Ruy This page should not be speedily deleted because this provides true factual information about the actor and is provided with proof: the IMDB link. I am not using wikipedia as a Soapbox because I am also registered on agencies like Mandy and Starnow, have my own website and company. Regards Shilpa Sapatnekar
- Reading your deleted user page, it looks like a clear attempt to promote yourself, rather than an attempt to write an article about a notable person. In any case, autobiographies are strongly discouraged on Wikipedia. —C.Fred (talk) 17:20, 27 December 2022 (UTC)
- Hi Fred, how can I add a page as a registered actor which you can see on IMDB and also on wikipedia Inkaar Shilpa Sapatnekar as Rani RealShilpa (talk) 17:31, 27 December 2022 (UTC)
- Again, you should not try to start a page about yourself. You could place a request at WP:Requested articles. Make sure to provide links to independent reliable sources that demonstrate you pass WP:NACTOR and WP:GNG. —C.Fred (talk) 17:35, 27 December 2022 (UTC)
- Though I should warn you that a search of Google News ([1]) returns 0 hits in English. —C.Fred (talk) 17:36, 27 December 2022 (UTC)
