Notability of Dallas (Band)

edit

A tag has been placed on Dallas (Band) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. (1 == 2)Until 22:26, 27 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

2 Pistols

edit

Please DO NOT TOUCH this article until I complete the rewrite. I will have it done within thirty minutes in a style conforming to WP:MOS, which your recurring edit fails. Your edits are conflicting with mine and it's making the successful rewrite (which will likely be the only thing that keeps the article from being deleted) VERY difficult. Thanks. --InDeBiz1 (talk) 22:51, 27 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Can't say I agree with the use of all capital words for emphasis, but he is correct. (1 == 2)Until 22:58, 27 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
My apologies. I was rather frustrated when I left that comment because I'd had to re-enter several of my edits because of conflicts with hers just prior. --InDeBiz1 (talk) 23:04, 27 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of C-side

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Excirial (Talk,Contribs) 23:24, 27 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from merely copying and pasting information from outside sources to Wikipedia, as it appears that you have recently done with edits to both 2 Pistols and C-side. This is a violation of United States Copyright Laws. --InDeBiz1 (talk) 23:36, 27 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Conflict of Interest

edit

Per your comment, you then can not edit Wikipedia articles pertaining to any Universal artists or projects, per WP:COI. Also, even if you are an employee of Universal Records, copying and pasting information directly from outside websites is still a violation of U.S. Copyright Laws, unless you are the original author and can prove that in a citation. For more on this subject, I encourage you to speak to your company's legal department. --InDeBiz1 (talk) 23:43, 27 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
