Hello, I'm Peaceray. I noticed that you recently removed content from Martin C. Strong without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. Hi Peaceray. I removed the link because 2004 is ridiculously outdated. Howvere I then revised by leaving the link but adding updated information. I also added the factual information about Martin's new book and the further volume he is working on. This has now also been removed. Why is this. Seems like old outdated information is allowed but current ibnformation is seen as promotion. Feels like Wilipedia is a club for insiders... RedPlanetBooks (talk) 18:19, 24 July 2024 (UTC)

Probably because you seem to have a conflict of interest. Specifically, you put published by Red Planet Books in June 2024 into the article & your username is RedPlanetBooks. As Gene Stanley1 stated in the edit summary, WP:COI. Perhaps that was not informative, but I would advise you to change your user name, declare your conflict of interest, then request the changes that you want to see at Talk:Martin C. Strong.
