"Redundant quotes"
editWhat is your issue with "redundant quotes"? They add context to the decisions. ViperSnake151 Talk 15:21, 20 July 2021 (UTC)
My Response
editHello,
I only removed quotes from individuals who were just adding commentary to decisions that had already been made regarding the Olympic Games. I didn't remove quotes from members of the IOC or the Tokyo games committee, just those from individuals who work in media or live in the Tokyo area.
Blocked as a sockpuppet

Request reason:
I’m confused why this happened to my account. I looked up what a sock puppet is and this is the only account I have had on the platform. I have not interacted with any of the authors mentioned on Wikipedia:Sockpuppetinvestigations/VentureKit. Most of the pages that I’ve edited are related to pop culture, current events, or the women in red project, which I had noted on my user page when I last updated it. Did I do something wrong with this? I have gotten a few thank you messages and notifications from other people who edit on wiki, so I assumed I was doing everything with my edits correctly. I have been asking questions in the tea house and on talk pages when I’m unsure of what I’m doing, and I didn’t think I had broken any rules. Please let me know how I can fix this, because I would like to be able to help out on wiki and keep working on the women in red project! Redf1veXW (talk) 12:56, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Behaviour confirms as an undisclosed paid editor - and likely a sock. Nosebagbear (talk) 21:14, 28 September 2021 (UTC)

Following Up on the Block
editHi again. It has been a week and I wanted to follow up to see if there’s anything else I can be doing to be able to edit again. I still don’t know what I could have done wrong, because I have only used one account to make edits, and I want to be able to keep contributing. Please let me know what else is needed so I can get this block removed.
Reaching Out Again
editHi again,
I wanted to check in one more time to see if there has been any movement on the appeal I filed for the block on my account. It has been a month and I still don’t know why I was blocked, because I only have one account, and I would like to be able to edit again. If there is anything else I can do to make this process move along, please let me know!
Thanks, Redf1veXW (talk) 17:09, 22 September 2021 (UTC)
- @GeneralNotability and TheresNoTime: - happy to take it private, but could I have a going over of the behavioural data, since this blocking was done purely on a suspected basis, without technical data. Nosebagbear (talk) 16:49, 25 September 2021 (UTC)
Confused About the Block
editHi again,
I am still extremely confused. This is my only account. I thought I was following all the rules and making constructive edits. I tried so hard to make this site better. This isn't fair.
