Klaus, I wrote an email to you already but will leave a message here too. The photo looks good. Don't worry if the image is taken down due to the way it is described, so long as you have the image we can figure out the way to describe the copyright status properly. It looks right to me but the Wikipedia way for tagging is very complicated and hard to understand. S! Mfields1 10:22, 10 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Redwulf_1 Info on JV44 engagements on 4/4/45

edit

Klaus

I left you a message on the forum for p-47 pilots.com

On 4/4/45, three pilots of the 316th FS, 324th FG each shot down a German Jet. One was an Arado 234, the other two were ME 262s.

The 316th was flying out of Luneville France at the time.

The AR 234 was shot down neat Augsburg.

The first 262 was encountered in a group of 4 on a steer home course from Ulm. One 262 was killed, another damaged.

The second 262 was shot down in the afternoon around the airdrome at Memmingen.

Would you have any information on these planes/pilots? Were the 262's from JV 44?

Doug
