I wish to make this page as an alternative to the fractional reserve banking pages and the Basel pages because in the real world most countries do not apply the same rules. In some counties there are no reserve requirements on certain types of loan. Instead there are capital adequacy requirements. The accounting rules in place that put a value on the capital are also different from country to country.
