Promotional content in the CimTrak article

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to CimTrak. While objective prose about beliefs, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. --4th-otaku (talk) 17:05, 3 January 2013 (UTC)

Although I am not incredibly active on wikipedia I would still like the ability to post articles should I come across content we are missing. @Athaenara: I checked those yesterday, but they are from eight years ago. It's extremely unusual to simultaneously provide a COI warning and block an account for edits they made nearly a decade previous. -- Jezebel's Ponyo^{bons mots} 16:04, 11 October 2019 (UTC)

I don't really understand why they were blocked in the first place, since their last action before being blocked was in January 2013. But they've agreed to the condition, and the blocking admin has given permission to do so, so I'll unblock. ST47 (talk) 03:08, 13 October 2019 (UTC)

Thank you. Just to note the content I had created nearly a decade ago for CimTrak (now deleted) is no different than the content created for other applications noted on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File_integrity_monitoring. Purpose of creating CimTrak article was to provide additional content on the File Integrity Monitoring article. That said, I will make sure not to post/edit in areas that pose a potential conflict of interest from this point forward. Releeh (talk) 18:39, 13 October 2019 (UTC)
