This is not a Wikipedia article: It is an individual user's work-in-progress page, and may be incomplete and/or unreliable. For guidance on developing this draft, see Wikipedia:So you made a userspace draft. Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL |
{{helpme}} Please read my article ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Reskelinen/EKOenergy ) through and provide some feedback. Would the article be ready to publish in your opinion?
- I had a quick look at it, and though it seems to now pass the G11 criterion under which it was originally speedily deleted, The references list appears to consist of entirely or almost entirely primary sources; unfortunately since I don't speak Finnish I can't check these out thoroughly though. I would recommend trying to find some reliable, english secondary sources or providing a translation of relevant parts of these references. Let me know if you need any more advice. GiftigerWunsch [TALK] 11:25, 28 May 2010 (UTC)
Now I added some English references. However some important information was not available in English. How should I do with that?
Speedy deletion nomination of EKOenergy
editYou may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.
Thank you.
A tag has been placed on EKOenergy, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.
If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}}
on the top of EKOenergy and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Syrthiss (talk) 13:42, 17 May 2010 (UTC)
- OK, you sold me - notability may be there, but for the lack of sources. So I've moved the article to User:Reskelinen/EKOenergy, where it is a userspace draft of what might become an article, eventually. Take the time to find good sources, add them to the article, and improve it as needed. When it's ready, have some other editors read through and provide feedback. Then the article can be moved back to the main space. By userfying the article, you can improve it without the threat of imminent deletion. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance, or just post {{helpme}} to this page with a request ofr assistance - someone will stop by and have a look. editHello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 13:07, 28 May 2010 (UTC)
I've had a look, at the article is much improved. I see some references still use EKOenergy's site; do be careful about that. If there are other sources, preferably independent ones, that have the same information, you might want to use those instead. As for the rest of the sources, if they're reliable sources, you're in good shape. You will also want to remove the "Other" section, as it's just a line of trivia unrelated to the rest of the article. A news story on the church's position, though, might merit inclusion. Hope this helps, UltraExactZZ Said ~ Did 19:39, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
- Just to let you know, I have tidied the first reference in the list using the cite report template. You may wish to do the same for the others, following the syntax you can find in my example. Check out cite web cite report etc. for more information. GiftigerWunsch [TALK] 08:39, 22 June 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks a lot. I will do that!--Reskelinen (talk) 08:41, 22 June 2010 (UTC)

editHi. When you recently edited Santeri Alkio, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Finnish (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a search with the contents of Vaajakoski-Jyskä, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Vaajakoski. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.
It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. MadmanBot (talk) 17:23, 4 April 2012 (UTC)

Finnish Centre Students
editIf you check the Special:Log/delete\Wikipedia deletion log, you can see all the articles that have been deleted recently, along with the reasons for them. If you were able to find out who deleted your article, then you should have been able to see the reason for deletion, which was "No explanation of significance (real person/animal/organization/web content/organized event)". It doesn't matter that it may be an old institution, the point is that you did not explain in the article why it was important, and you did not provide any independent references to prove that it is. I suggest that you read the pages Wikipedia:Notability and Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion for further information. Then you can recreate the article in such a way that it fulfils the necessary criteria for inclusion in the encyclopedia. Deb (talk) 20:25, 19 March 2013 (UTC)

editThanks for uploading File:JYP Jyväskylä logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:29, 10 August 2015 (UTC)
