Neologism itself
editThe word "Helleneologism" is itself a neologism that is apparently not used anywhere but Wikipedia: on Google, [Helleneologism -wikipedia] has only 6 hits, most of them apparently directly or indirectly linked to Wikipedia. Wikipedia policy says to Wikipedia:Avoid neologisms, especially for article titles. Oh, and by the way, the word is mis-formed: the correct formation would be hellenoneologism....
What's more, the article seems to be an opinion essay; it is not reporting on the references it gives, but instead analyzing them (i.e. it is original research.
Unless the authors of this article find some better sources, and move it to an accepted name, I will recommend that the article be deleted. --Macrakis 18:47, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
- You are right. I was hoping that the article itself would teach somebody that this is a self-describing fake Greek-sounding neologism so they would know to delete it. I even suggested at the end that people should Google it to find out if it were real. I confess, and I've removed the article from article space. Reswobslc 07:25, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
