Revisions were made on August 6, 2009. The section on NCLB was updated with newer data. An additional section was created 2008-2009 Report Card Scandal This section is necessary because of a major event at the high school. An investigation by the Illinois State Board of Education has been completed. The district has been found to have violated one of the major rules about the PSAE exam. The consequences for the district are very serious.
District administrators have an alternate point of view. They admit to excluding about 150 juniors from the test, but they claim that the ISBE permits it and other schools do it.
