I know the JTWC have upgraded the Depression to a tropical storm but your edit was reverted because it was giving the sustained windspeeds as 45kts and the 10-min winds as 35kts when the JMA havent even upgraded it to a tropical storm yet.Jason Rees (talk) 23:12, 7 November 2009 (UTC)
- yes and no - The 10-min winds is per JMA and the 1 min is per JTWC.Jason Rees (talk) 23:20, 7 November 2009 (UTC)
- Yep - youve got it :) Jason Rees (talk) 03:31, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
Your recent edits
editHello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 23:06, 7 November 2009 (UTC)
Hi
editThe WikiProject Tropical Cyclones (WPTC) needs your help. Since 2008, our number of members have decreased. We need your help making sure all of are Featured articles are updated and some project processes need to be accomplished. We can do some processes with many active members, so we Wikipedians like you to help us get this done. In WPTC we
- Work on vital articles such as Hurricane Hugo, Hurricane Rita, Hurricane Ike, Hurricane Camile, Cyclone Tracy, or 2004 Atlantic hurricane season
- Update season articles
- Create new articles for every Atlantic hurricane season since 1851 and every Eastern Pacific hurricane season since 1949.
If you have any questions just ask Hurricanehink (talk · contribs), Cyclonebiskit (talk · contribs), Jason Rees (talk · contribs), Juliancolton (talk · contribs), Mitchazenia (talk · contribs), Yellow Evan (talk · contribs), Hylian Auree (talk · contribs) or Thegreatdr (talk · contribs). Also, it seems like you're confused. 10-min is JMA sustained winds, and 1 min is JTWC sustained winds. Ask me, Jason Rees (talk · contribs) or VOFFA (talk · contribs) if you're still confused :). Darren23Edits|Mail 01:52, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
