Footballer infoboxes
editHello, and thank you for trying to improve coverage of football topics on the English Wikipedia. Just to let you know that in the infobox, separate contracted spells are recorded separately. Which means that if a player is on loan to the same club for two separate spells, they are kept separate in the infobox. And particularly, if a loan is followed by a purchase, the loan spell is recorded separately from the permanent spell.
For instance, Fraser Forster spent two spells on loan to Celtic (and was on the bench for NUFC between the two), before leaving NUFC for Celtic on a permanent basis in 2012. On the English Wikipedia, we record that as two separate loan spells at Celtic and then the permanent spell. We'd be misleading the reader if we made the infobox look as if he left NUFC permanently in 2010. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 13:22, 3 April 2016 (UTC)

Your edit to Almost Famous
editHello Rexton Williams -- Sorry, I intended to undo your edit to Almost Famous with the explanation that the order of the stars should reflect the order on the official poster, per the instructions at Template:Infobox film: "Insert the names of the actors as they are listed in the billing block of the poster for the film's original theatrical release." But I accidentally hit the rollback button instead (I'm a rollbacker, but rollbacks are intended only for reverting vandalism). The listing of the stars should not reflect their stature today, but their stature at the time the film was made and the size of their roles in the film. Respectfully -- WikiPedant (talk) 23:31, 2 January 2017 (UTC)
Recent edit to FIS Alpine World Ski Championships 2017 – Men's giant slalom
editHello, and thank you for your contribution to Wikipedia. I noticed that you recently added commentary to the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships 2017 – Men's giant slalom article. While Wikipedia welcomes editors' opinions on an article and how it could be changed, these comments are more appropriate for the article's accompanying talk page. If you post your comments there, other editors working on the same article will notice and respond to them, and your comments will not disrupt the flow of the article. Thank you! July 2017
editPlease do not add or change content, as you did at Romelu Lukaku, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Fee agreed doesn't equal completed transfer. editPlease stop adding unsourced content, as you did to David Villa. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Mattythewhite (talk) 15:51, 17 September 2017 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for January 8
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Michael Matt, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Sljeme (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:23, 8 January 2018 (UTC)
Me (Rex): I added Sljeme link because Sljeme is name of ski course, like Beaver Creek is redirected to "Birds Of Pray", Wengen is redirected to "Lauberhorn ski races" etc.
April 2018
editHello. Some of your recent genre changes, such as the one you made to Seize the Day (song), have conflicted with our neutral point of view and verifiability policies. While we invite all users to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, we urge all editors to provide reliable sources for edits made. When others disagree, we recommend you seek consensus for certain edits by discussing the matter on the article's talk page. Thank you. SummerPhDv2.0 23:25, 18 April 2018 (UTC)

Impact Point moved to draftspace
editAn article you recently created, Impact Point, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Your draft article, Draft:Impact Point
