Hi there and welcome to Wikipedia. While I haven't had a chance to fully go over your changes to the article, I strongly suggest you read the Wikipedia guidelines on conflicts of interest before deciding to proceed any further. It appears that your main purpose here is to advance the interests of a particular company. When you carry a conflict of interest, it's virtually impossible to maintain a neutral point of view, which is a fundamental principle of this project. Thank you for pointing out my omission. Clearly, I missed this aspect. (As a side note...I am a bit overwhelmed by all of the caveats!) My apologies.

I was contracted by Joyent to provide an unbiased, factually correct, up-to-date entry. The original entry was clearly incomplete and out-of-date. Joyent hired me as an outsider to remedy the problem. If I understand the COI policy, if I state this "conflict" on my user page, but craft a factually based, unbiased entry, then I will be "in bounds", yes? Or did I miss something else? I think every Wikipedia editor would appreciate the forthright manner with which you've disclosed your affiliations. I've given the article a once-over, removed much of the blatant marketing-speak, and consolidated it a bit. As you are a party that has been contracted by Joyent to re-vamp their article, I have great doubts that you will have the ability to produce a truly neutral tone for this piece. And while conflict of interest editing is not forbidden here, it is strongly discouraged. Joyent would be much better served by you drafting press releases for them, or for creating company profiles on one of the many business directories that currently exist on the web. For any future subject you wish to work on here, you should take a look at what Wikipedia considers to be reliable sources. Generally speaking, press releases, reprints of press releases and business directories do not count as reliable sources. I also formatted one of the references for you. If you want to improve the article you really need to have more few a reference than just a bare url address. In the box when you edit I have a "templates" box that allows me to pre fill in as many fields before inserting the reference. You can also copy the one I added and follow the formatting exactly.
