You have been blocked indefinitely from editing, because this account has been used only for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to Wikipedia's content policy. Also, your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group, which is against Wikipedia's policy: an account is for an individual, not a group. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a free advertising service.

If you intend to make useful contributions about some topic other than your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of this page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:

  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Alexf(talk) 23:50, 28 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I recently discovered that my account, “kedardesigns,” has been indefinitely blocked since 2016 because the username was considered promotional or representative of a business.
I created the account many years ago and did not understand at the time that the username could violate Wikipedia’s username policy. I am happy to change it to a non-promotional personal username and to follow Wikipedia’s policies going forward.
I would appreciate having the block removed so that I can continue contributing under an appropriate new username. Thank you for considering my request. Kedardesigns (talk) 20:26, 16 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Accept reason:

Okay. I have removed the block. 331dot (talk) 17:36, 17 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
  • I have renamed your account. Another uninvolved admin will review your unblock request. PhilKnight (talk) 03:03, 17 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
  • I'm okay with unblocking you if you agree to comply with WP:COI, if your intention is to write about Ruth Kedar or things related to her. (WP:PAID if you are an employee) 331dot (talk) 06:24, 17 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
    Yes, absolutely. I understand and agree to comply with WP:COI for any subjects with which I have a personal or professional connection. I am Ruth Kedar, and I now understand that my earlier editing of material about myself created a conflict of interest, regardless of my intent at the time. Going forward, I will disclose any conflicts of interest and use the appropriate processes for proposing or requesting changes rather than editing conflicted material directly. I am not receiving any compensation for my Wikipedia contributions. Thank you. Rkdart (talk) 17:18, 17 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Information icon Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Dark Legacy Comics, from its old location at User:Rkdart/sandbox. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. ScalarFactor (talk) 23:10, 17 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. Your draft submission to Articles for creation has been reviewed but not accepted at this time.
Feedback
The reviewer, MangoMan11, left the following feedback:
This draft is not adequately supported by reliable sources. Wikipedia's verifiability policy requires that all content be supported by reliable sources.
  • Reliable sources include: reputable newspapers, magazines, academic journals, and books from respected publishers.
  • Unacceptable sources include: personal blogs, social media, predatory publishers, most tabloids, and websites where anyone can contribute.
Replace any unreliable sources with high-quality sources. If you cannot find a reliable source for the material, it should be removed.
This draft's references do not show that the subject meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion. The draft requires multiple published secondary sources that:
  • provide significant coverage: discuss the subject in detail, not just brief mentions or routine announcements;
  • are reliable: from reputable outlets with editorial oversight;
  • are independent: not connected to the subject, such as interviews, press releases, the subject's own website, or sponsored content.
Please add references that meet all three of these criteria. If none exist, the subject is not yet suitable for Wikipedia.

Next steps

  • Edit Draft:Dark Legacy Comics to address the points above, making sure to publish any changes.
  • When you are ready to resubmit your draft for review, click the Resubmit button.
  • If you do not edit your draft in the next 6 months, it may be deleted.
