Waterloo station link
editPlease do not make any more edits like this, see WP:NOTBROKEN. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 21:21, 4 February 2017 (UTC)
- Plenty broken, hence corrected and set as diasmbiguation page. Rm2033 (talk) 05:11, 6 February 2017 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) I'm with Redrose64 on this - the links were not broken in the first place - is there an automated system you are using to make the edits? I have also noticed you have been changing Routemaster to AEC Routemaster. Care to explain the reasoning? It is a link to a disambiguation page, as per Redrose's statement above, edits to change the link should be avoided. Nördic Nightfury 15:32, 6 February 2017 (UTC)
- While the Waterloo station article redirects to London Waterloo station and thus in many cases okay, it was also being used incorrectly in lieu of one of these, so clearly there was confusion. Same with Routemaster, some of the links about the New Routemaster were incorrectly pointing to Routemaster which bounced to AEC Routemaster. By setting as a disambiguation page this should help avoid confusion in the future. Rm2033 (talk) 03:08, 9 February 2017 (UTC)
- I see that you have resumed this behaviour, e.g. this edit. Please cease at once, and obtain consensus before you bypass any more redirects. Repurposing of longstanding redirects should only occur after there has been a discussion at WP:RFD. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 10:36, 9 February 2017 (UTC)
