editHello and welcome to Wikipedia. Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours to the page San Diego has an edit summary that appears to be inaccurate or inappropriate. The summaries are helpful to people browsing an article's history, so it is important that you use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did. Feel free to use the sandbox to make test edits. Your edits updating templates in infoboxes are useful, but using summaries like "fixed typo/grammar" are not, when all you've done is made a small template change. As much as it irks me when I see it, leaving no edit summary is better than leaving an inaccurate one. "Updated infobox flag parameter" would be a perfect edit summary. → GS → ☎ → 07:55, 2 July 2018 (UTC)

editPlease do not add or change content, as you did at Duncan U. Fletcher High School, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Toddst1 (talk) 03:04, 3 September 2018 (UTC)
Area codes
editPlease do not add area codes to articles that are not in service yet. The area code pages do discuss future NPAs to document ongoing history, but articles should not mislead the status of an NPA. History has shown that NPA relief action can and has been cancelled even shortly before actual service. See also talk:List of North American Numbering Plan area codes. kbrose (talk) 17:15, 2 August 2023 (UTC)
- Why are you starting edit warring on my reversions? You can reinstate them next year when the area code is in service. kbrose (talk) 14:13, 3 August 2023 (UTC)
ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message
editHello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Restoration Recognition
editI'm not sure if this is exactly the right barnstar (or even if Barnstars are a thing on Wikipedia anymore), but you've inspired me to bestow a Barnstar for the first time in over ten years:
The Curator Barnstar | ||
For restoring the article San Pablo Island which was unceremoniously turned into a redirect nearly 15 years ago. You've shown that the article indeed does have notability, and have hopefully assured its continued existence. Unschool 17:57, 24 November 2024 (UTC) |
I created that article many years ago (perhaps some of the old content would merit adding to the current article) and felt that I just didn't have the stomach to fight a sysop over the matter, as I just don't know "the rules" well enough. Seeing it come back made me happy.Unschool 17:57, 24 November 2024 (UTC)
