editI wrote "to stop the French seizing them" which was blatantly the reason why so how is that POV?
Also, who are you to warn anyone? I can warn you just the same.
You've made 23 edits in 23 minutes from a fresh account. No history prior to 1:03 am (BST) 3rd JUNE 2015, and now your warning reasonable edits? Riggggght.

- You put the words "reasonably" which is POV. RoadWarrior445 (talk) 01:44, 3 June 2015 (UTC)

Sorry about the revert of your edit at Planet, there was a second edit by the IP user that I was trying to get. Rwessel (talk) 05:48, 4 June 2015 (UTC)

BYU Future Schedules
editYou shouldn't have restored the 2015 section of the BYU Cougars football schedule on future schedules. There is no unexplained blanking. The 2015 BYU Cougars football team already contains the information. Once the season page has been created, it should be used instead of the future schedules section. Bigddan11 (talk) 20:04, 4 June 2015 (UTC)
- Understood, but you didn't explain that in your edit summary when you removed it. RoadWarrior445 (talk) 20:08, 4 June 2015 (UTC)

Don't undo just one
editHi there! When you're reverting vandalism, make sure to revert all of the person's edits, not just undo one of them. For example, on this page, you only undid one of the vandal's edits, but they had made 5 edits in a row that were all vandalism. This makes it harder for other people working with you to fight vandalism to clean it all up efficiently (because we assume your edit resulted in a "clean" version of the article). See WP:REVERT (section "Manual Reverting") for information on how to revert more than one edit at a time. —Darkwind (talk) 01:58, 7 June 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks! I will do this in the future. RoadWarrior445 (talk) 01:58, 7 June 2015 (UTC)
- Also, please don't report users to AIV until they've received a level 4 or 4im warning. For example, you just reported 67.246.36.232 (talk · contribs · WHOIS), but the warning you left for them was level 3, and they haven't edited since then. This falls under "assume good faith", you should give them a chance to read and acknowledge your warning to them before reporting them. If they continue to vandalize, you leave a level 4 warning, then if they do it again after that, then you report them. —Darkwind (talk) 02:06, 7 June 2015 (UTC)

Hello RoadWarrior445. Thanks for patrolling new pages – it's a very important task! I'm just letting you know, however, that you shouldn't tag pages as lacking context (CSD A1), or content (CSD A3), moments after they are created. It's best to wait at least 10–15 minutes for more content to be added if the page is very short, and the articles should not be marked as patrolled. Tagging such pages in a very short space of time may drive away well-meaning contributors, which is not good for Wikipedia. Attack pages (G10), blatant nonsense (G1), copyright violations (G12) and pure vandalism/blatant hoaxes (G3) should of course be tagged and deleted immediately. Thanks.Adam9007 (talk) 18:06, 7 June 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks for the tip. I'll keep this in mind in the future. RoadWarrior445 (talk) 18:07, 7 June 2015 (UTC)
Quill
editWhy am I the one getting the warning for removing unsourced content from his page and explaining my actions for doing so in edit summaries when other random users are continuing to add it back without any kind of explanation at all? I'm not trying to do any kind of edit war, I'm trying to keep some sort of order to things that are being screwed around with for the hell of it by users who are just adding nonsense to a page. 71.121.241.118 (talk) 00:56, 8 June 2015 (UTC)
- The material in question is definitely valid. Quill is definitely Asian, see here. RoadWarrior445 (talk) 00:58, 8 June 2015 (UTC)
- No it is not valid. That article in question is for the comic book iteration of the character, NOT a movie interpretation, which has it's own separate section below that one labeled as "In other media", which is what the picture you linked to is for. As I stated in my edit summary, there are no "new X-Men comics" currently coming out because of the Secret Wars event, and nothing with any X-Men related characters playing out in that event have shown any version of the Quill character in them. The material in question is unsourced and therefore is not supposed to be included on the page. Please remove it again or I will do the same. 71.121.241.118 (talk) 01:07, 8 June 2015 (UTC)
Hi! I notice you changed "reverse discrimination" to "affirmative action" in the Clint Bolick article. I checked the article used as a reference for this statement - it reads as follows:
- Clarence Thomas ... convinced Bolick that addressing the plight of inner-city residents with no access to affirmative action programs should be higher in priority than fighting "reverse discrimination."
Rather than just revert your change, I changed the text to refer to "reverse discrimination," but put quotes around the term (as is done in the reference). What do you think? Let me know if we need to discuss. Best James Cage (talk) 00:34, 10 June 2015 (UTC)
- No, I have no problem with your change, since there are quotes around it. Thanks for leaving this note, James Cage. RoadWarrior445 (talk) 00:43, 10 June 2015 (UTC)
Nice to meet you - have a good one. James Cage (talk) 00:52, 10 June 2015 (UTC)
Redirect vandalism
editI am the dude who's been redirecting Asswipe to Barack Obama. The way I get a new IP is simple - turn my phone's mobile data setting off and then back on, and get a random new IP address each time I do so. Regarding your statement that "some people never learn", I learned long ago not to "vandalize" Wikipedia on my landline cable connection. Even a checkuser can never tell what IP my landline is from one of my cell phone edits. Thus, I can stop "vandalizing" and turn on WiFi to make "constructive" edits on my home landline Internet, which cannot be linked to my "disruptive" behavior on mobile connections. I call myself "The Great Sock Puppetmaster Of POOP!", and I am the greatest teenage ADHD supervillian who ever roamed the Internet. Peace out, and long live poop! 2600:1014:B04A:DDA5:0:F:8B:4501 (talk) 01:30, 12 June 2015 (UTC)
- ...Lovely. -_- RoadWarrior445 (talk) 01:34, 12 June 2015 (UTC)
- I got a sock puppet account. If you want to waste your time, report it to WP:AIV like a big tattle-tale, and I will make another one. I didn't stop when they blocked my dozen or so others, so I really don't see how you are going to mess up my scheme when many admins, checkusers, ArbCom members, oversighters, etc. have tried. If you range block all the IPs of my cell phone provider in this area, there are many free hotspots around town as well. Before you make an enemy of me, please tell me how often you think you can revert my edits to your user page before you tire of doing so and give up and cry to your mommy. MyNewSock (talk) 01:40, 12 June 2015 (UTC)
- You don't scare me. I'm not afraid of users like you, who have no problem vandalizing this project for no good reason. You keep on making those new accounts, and I'll keep reporting them to WP:AIV and get them blocked, and undoubtedly other people will as well. RoadWarrior445 (talk) 01:41, 12 June 2015 (UTC)

RFC
editAn RFC about an article that you have recently commented on is ongoing at: Talk: Dennis Hastert - Cwobeel (talk) 00:22, 14 June 2015 (UTC)
The file File:Doctor Octopus.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Fails WP:NFCC 3a and 8. Not substantially different from the depiction of the character in the infobox. There are several images of the figure in slightly different illustration styles/live action; one at most is needed.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. The Squirrel Conspiracy (talk) 16:47, 26 April 2020 (UTC)
