Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. MrOllie (talk) 20:49, 3 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Mr Ollie. I appreciate your dedication to keeping Wikipedia free from link spam, etc. But I am bothered that you chose to remove my link today. Please advise how indiegametools.com does not relate to and contribute to the development of independent games. The site was created for the sole purposes of advancing independent game development. The generic post that you provided above does not contribute to my understanding and does not help me to contribute to wikipedia one bit... it serves only to frustrate and leaves me feeling that I simply cannot make an acceptable contribution to wikipedia that ever involves external links. I have read "How not to be a spammer" on wikipedia's external_link_spamming page and also the article on external_links... I guess that I just don't understand how to contribute except by revising articles which I do on occasion but am inclined to do less and less. RobcWiki (talk) 21:22, 3 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
