RobertJTurner
Welcome!
editHello, RobertJTurner, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I noticed that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.
To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.
One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)
In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.
Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}}
before the question. Again, welcome! MoonyTheDwarf (Braden N.) (talk) 21:32, 9 November 2019 (UTC)
Hello!
editMoonyTheDwarf, you seem to be mistaken. I do not get paid for the few hours I just spent researching this company and it's founder. I am not compensated in any way beyond knowing I contributed to Wikipedia. I do visit Arizona though, and I am pretty sure I know where this building is located. I was reading articles about small satellites (think planet.com) and eventually found Spectrum Astro. When I searched for them on Wikipedia I noticed it had no information on them, so I decided to remedy that. I then noticed the founder of this company that seems to have made such a huge impact on space exploration did not have a Wikipedia page either, so I made one for him as well. I figure this is what Wikipedia is all about, and perhaps I am mistaken there. Thank you though! — Preceding unsigned comment added by RobertJTurner (talk • contribs)
- Just making absolutely sure (As you would get in serious trouble if you continued editing and were paid without disclosing). Thanks for responding! --MoonyTheDwarf (Braden N.) (talk) 21:43, 9 November 2019 (UTC)
Wow, "serious trouble" sounds like some type of threat. Maybe I misunderstood what this website is all about. Can you please put my W. David Thompson article back up? — Preceding unsigned comment added by RobertJTurner (talk • contribs)
- Was not intended to be, my apologies. Checking my CSD Log, I do not appear to have deleted anything you've made? Did someone else delete it? Do note that new users cannot create new articles directly, and have to go through WP:AFC --MoonyTheDwarf (Braden N.) (talk) 21:48, 9 November 2019 (UTC)
Ah, it is still a draft! Now it is my turn to pass apologies. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:W._David_Thompson. The guy is in the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum for crying out loud. He seems to deserve a Wikipedia entry. — Preceding unsigned comment added by RobertJTurner (talk • contribs)
- Appears so. If you're wondering why I used the Conflict Of Interest welcome, it's because your draft was flagged as possible self promotion. Anyways, as that isn't the case (Yay!), I wish you luck on creating your article. Make sure to prove that he is notable and use reliable sources. Wikipedia:Your first article will be of assistance. Also, please look at how to use your talk page, WP:TPHELP should explain it nicely. I'm going to clean out the
{{Help me}}
templates real quick, and sign your comments, as User:Sinebot doesn't seem to want to do it. --MoonyTheDwarf (Braden N.) (talk) 22:00, 9 November 2019 (UTC)

editThank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Wikipedia:Teahouse, as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Just to be clear, even though posts you make to talk pages are (mostly) immune from revision by others, only mark them "minor" if they are grammatical corrections, fixes of broken links, etc. The reasoning is that some people configure their watchlists not to catch minor revisions, so if you mark a significant post as minor, they might not read it.
