The population is significantly higher than 85, I believe it's more around 517 people with 211 residential Units, you would need to contact the Village of Alexandria Office at (740) 924-2539 for the correct count. As for the founding yes it was founded by Alexander Devilbliss but I think the date was in 1819. Please contact the Alexandria public library and speak with Martha Sturgill on this issue.
