Notability of Denver-Carrington

edit

A tag has been placed on Denver-Carrington requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Cheers Kyle1278 02:32, 3 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

The recent edit you made to List of Dynasty episodes has been reverted, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Your additions are lifted directly from http://www.ultimatedynasty.net/season7.html. I also suspect that you are the same user I have warned about this previously in the same article.— TAnthonyTalk 21:55, 4 May 2009 (UTC)TAnthonyTalk 21:55, 4 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

The recent edit you made to List of The Colbys episodes has been reverted, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. This is your second warning on this specific issue; you have added information to the article lifted verbatim from http://www.ultimatedynasty.net/colbys/season2co.html. If you do this again in this or any article, you will be blocked.TAnthonyTalk 03:33, 13 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

I just noticed this addition by you of copyrighted material to Brooke English; it occurred right before your addition to the Colbys article above, so I'll consider you warned (though it occurred after previous copyvio warnings, so you should have known better by then). If you really want to participate here, I would remind you that editing means actually researching and writing content, not cutting and pasting things from elsewhere. Thanks.— TAnthonyTalk 15:37, 13 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
I would also like to note this addition by you of copyrighted material to Helena Cassadine on May 4, 1009.— TAnthonyTalk 21:19, 21 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please check your sources before making any more changes to Dynasty-related articles; Alexis' maiden name is spelled with a single 'r.' Thanks. — TAnthonyTalk 03:37, 13 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Suspected sockpuppetry

edit

I have suspected that you are yet another sockpuppet account of indefinitely blocked user Montaj13 for some time now, based on your May 2, 2009 creation of Denver-Carrington from copyrighted material (previous created by Montaj13 and deleted as a copyright violation, see deletion notification) as well as other Dynasty related edits with strong similarities to edits made by Montaj13 and his/her blocked sockpuppet Riser13. For example, this edit by you today to Blake Carrington matches the following additions of unsourced OR by Montaj13: here, here, and here.

Your blocks apply to you personally, which means you should no longer be editing, under any user name or IP address. The copyright violations etc. noted above prove that you either have not learned from your mistakes or have chosen to ignore policy. I am willing to give you the benefit of the doubt ... please consider this your FINAL WARNING to be extremely careful with any edits you make in the future. If you make one more bad faith edit violating the copyright policy or adding unsourced material to articles, I will open a sockpuppet case for this account and you will be blocked yet again.— TAnthonyTalk 06:34, 20 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Despite my repeated warnings, you have just added copyrighted material from http://www.soapcentral.com/amc/whoswho/marian.php to Marian Chandler (All My Children) here. As promised, I am opening yet another sockpuppet report.— TAnthonyTalk
I'm not sure if you even read your own talk page, but feel free to defend yourself in the sockpuppetry case here. — TAnthonyTalk 21:27, 21 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
