Yes, I am a newbie Wikipedian.............
Adopting
editHi! I'd adopt you if you think so. :) I speak a little french and would like to help you how to be a useful part of the community. NCurse work 16:38, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry, I've been away in the last two days, but now I'm ready to help you. In what are you interested? First please have a look at Wikipedia:First steps. NCurse work 15:01, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
So, first wouldn't you want to write some infos about yourself in your user page?
- Uploading photos: you can upload photos, images here. But first please sure about the license of the photos. You can find plenty of licence templates here: Wikipedia:Image copyright tags. If you want to upload a file (image, photo, etc), show me one, and I'll show you an example of how to insert a licence.
- "plus any knowledge you think Wikipedians need to know": uh, it'd be easier if you would ask me questions.
Anyway, I can help you navigating, if you tell me in what subjects, topics you are interested. Or what do you learn, work. Then I could show you several projects, open tasks. Good work! :) NCurse work 17:06, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
Maybe then you can be interested in:
- Portal:Christianity
- Portal:Narnia and Wikipedia:WikiProject Narnia
- Portal:Middle-earth and Wikipedia:WikiProject Middle-earth
- You could write about the history of your schoole, because it's really stub now. Or about sport, your campus, notable Alumni. You could upload nice photos.
NCurse work 14:04, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
Good start for your user page. :) Anything else? How to insert new userboxes; how to edit, how to find specific topics? What else do you need? NCurse work 12:52, 16 October 2006 (UTC)

HTML help pages
editNoticed your cry for help on NCurse's talk page, and I thought this might be of help. For fancy fancy scripts (useless on Wiki, probably) try this. Cheers! - ¡Kribbeh!Speak!\Contribs 23:42, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
- Or you tell me what do you want, and I show you an example of how to do that. :) NCurse work 13:26, 19 October 2006 (UTC)

WikiProject Novels is currently holding a roll call, which we hope to have annually. Your username is listed on the members list, but we are unsure as to which editors are still active within the project. If you still consider yourself an active WP:Novels editor, please add your name back to the Active Members list. Also feel free to join any of our task forces and take a look at the project's Job Centre to get involved!
Next month we will begin the coordinator election selection process. We hope to have more involvement and input this time around! More news will be forthcoming. Thanks, everyone! María (habla conmigo) 18:47, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
