Spam in Spreading Resistance Profiling

edit

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Spreading Resistance Profiling, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Spreading Resistance Profiling is blatant advertising for a company, product, group, service or person that would require a substantial rewrite in order to become an encyclopedia article.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Spreading Resistance Profiling, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. To see the user who deleted the page, click here CSDWarnBot (talk) 03:40, 17 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

  • Hi there, don't worry about the notice above. An editor thought your new article was spam, and tagged it as such, so the bot warned you. The editor then changed his/her mind and removed the tag. You can see this in the page history. Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia! Regards, Chuckiesdad (talk) 03:51, 17 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

I saw your message at User_talk:LautaroSosa, that's actually the talk page for another editor, mine is at User_talk:Chuckiesdad. Practice, asking questions and reading the Help pages are all good ways to improve your work, but you've made a good start with your article. You can also ask experienced editors for guidance and help at WP:ER, WP:ASSIST or WP:ADOPT. Best wishes, Chuckiesdad (talk) 19:31, 18 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Good question! To add a new section, just edit the current article. Insert the section (including title) wherever you want. A section header at the same level as the other headings will have two equal signs before and after like thls: == section title ==. More equal signs makes a lower level header, fewer signs is a higher level. See WP:HEAD for more details. Use the 'Preview' button to see how your changes look before you click 'Save Page'. You can write copy in Windows Notepad or Word, then cut and paste to the article's edit screen. You can also add your own sandbox to create and edit articles offline before posting them, like you did with the original article. If you want one, let me know and I'll make one for you.
