2Chan
editI do have a talk page, you can ask me there instead of on an article discussion page. As for 2Chan, no... I don't go there. It's dark and scary. I might be eaten by a grue. --Jusenkyoguide (talk) 05:52, 18 March 2014 (UTC)
I believe as Wiki users, we have to keep neutral and keep all 2ch users away. They are notorious for their web vandalism and do not belong anywhere in the web. I mean, every nation with internet access has these stuff (I believe), it is just that 2ch has grown too large and too infamous.Rokyroad (talk) 21:03, 18 March 2014 (UTC)
- One, that's not your call to make. Even if I were a 2Chan user, along as I follow wiki's guidelines, whatever I do is acceptable. The same with you. Two, I already linked to the getting started page which, if you read, talks about sources and how to cite them. Saying "I watched a TV show" doesn't amount to much, the show must be cited in a verifiable way in order to be included, or else it is nothing BUT POV pushing, which is forbidden on Wiki. Also, you should provide a direct citation, i.e. "According to Mr. So-and-so, panel member, the trial was unfair and the death penalty predetermined." this makes the article more balanced as the reader can see who is making the assertion. This is especially important for articles like this were there are competing points of views that are at odds and where anything beyond stated time/date facts can be used to push the article one way or another. And three, yes, I AM American. My family's been in the States since before the Revolution so please stop attempting to link my edits with being Japanese. Again, that doesn't matter, what matters is what we can verify. Now, as a caution, we're getting into an edit war. I HIGHLY recommend that you do not revert my last edit because it'll get us both in trouble. Learn how to cite and when you do, THEN add it in. --Jusenkyoguide (talk) 23:17, 18 March 2014 (UTC)
Okay I will just have to watch the documentary again Rokyroad (talk) 23:28, 18 March 2014 (UTC) I was also inferring many 2channers DON'T follow wiki laws in neutrality and truth telling... Well, they inject too much opinion Rokyroad (talk) 23:29, 18 March 2014 (UTC)
Your recent edits
editHello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 21:00, 18 March 2014 (UTC)
