Hi there! I saw one of your recent edits to 2014 United States federal budget and I wanted to let you know why I deleted it. That article is about the 2014 federal budget, a non-existent agreement that would have been a plan for all spending for a year. That plan would not have appropriated any funds, it just would have made suggestions or guidelines about how to do so. Obama, the House, and the Senate all have their own proposed budgets. Public Law 113-46, which ended the shutdown, is a continuing resolution. It is an appropriation bill. Those are typically the second stage in the process after a budget has been agreed to, although that is not required. This particular bill, which has its own Continuing Appropriations Act, 2014 article, just appropriates funds at the previous level until January. It is not a budget. Do you understand the difference? Lots of people make this mistake. If you want to, you can do some editing on the Continuing Appropriations Act, 2014, if that still interests you. Let me know if this still doesn't make sense.
