In response to your feedback

Sorry that was your experience, but thanks for giving it a go. We generally try to operate according to the principles stated in Wikipedia:Consensus, which can feel a little bit tedious and exhausting at times, but when it works, it's very rewarding. It takes a degree of emotional detachment and doggedness when dealing with controversy, though.

Hope you give it another try sometime, but in any event, thanks for taking a few steps into the community, even if it ended up feeling like a waste of time.
