Jerusalem
editThe location of Jerusalem in a particular country is disputed. Wikipedia does not place it in any country. Please read Talk:Natalie Portman and the archives where the discussions very clearly support not adding any country, and do not add Israel again. Thanks. Sundayclose (talk) 22:46, 26 June 2016 (UTC)

editHello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Natalie Portman. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.
If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose editing privileges. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Opinions on Wikipedia
editOne editor's opinion is no more important on Wikipedia than anyone else's opinion. If there are differences in opinions, as in the case of Jerusalem, the decision is made by consensus, and that overrides any single editor's opinion, including yours and mine. There is a clear consensus not to place Jerusalem in any country. Please click all of the blue links on this page and read them. And again, read the Portman talk page and archives. If you add "Israel" again, you very likely will lose editing privileges for all of Wikipedia. I hope you don't do that, but the choice is yours. Thanks. Sundayclose (talk) 23:43, 26 June 2016 (UTC)
- If you are here to right great wrongs, such as the controversy about Jerusalem, Wikipedia is not the place for you and I suggest that you spend your time on other websites. Wikipedia is a collaborative project, and it has no place for people who can't abide by it's basic policies such as WP:CON. Sundayclose (talk) 00:06, 27 June 2016 (UTC)
- And by the way, feel free to "take it up with an admin". An admin will be the one blocking you if you continue with the same attitude. And no Wikipedia page is "your page". Read WP:OWN. Sundayclose (talk) 00:40, 27 June 2016 (UTC)

.During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
The full report is at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring#User:Roni4488 reported by User:Clpo13 (Result: Blocked). Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 01:29, 27 June 2016 (UTC)
Please carefully read this information:
The Arbitration Committee has authorised discretionary sanctions to be used for pages regarding the Arab–Israeli conflict, a topic which you have edited. The Committee's decision is here.
Discretionary sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimize disruption to controversial topics. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to the topic that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behavior, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. This message is to notify you sanctions are authorised for the topic you are editing. Before continuing to edit this topic, please familiarise yourself with the discretionary sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.EdJohnston (talk) 01:32, 27 June 2016 (UTC)
I prepared a lengthy reply where I expressed disappointment with the fact that historical and factual items are left to the opinionsame and consensus of users which is scary and unacceptable Imo but after reviewing the links you sent me (thank you) I realized that this forum is not for me. Too bad you don't have anot account deletion process on place.
Thanks again Roni4488 (talk) 21:44, 27 June 2016 (UTC)
- Actually there is a way to WP:VANISH if you feel strongly about it, although I'm not suggesting that you do that. Sundayclose (talk) 01:02, 28 June 2016 (UTC)
