Your submission at Articles for creation: If You’re So Smart, Why Aren’t You Happy? (October 11)
editYour recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Gbawden was: This submission's references do not adequately show the subject's notability. Wikipedia requires significant coverage about the subject in reliable sources that are independent of the subject—see the general guideline on notability and the golden rule. Please improve the submission's referencing (see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners), so that the information is verifiable, and there is clear evidence of why the subject is notable and worthy of inclusion in an encyclopedia. If additional reliable sources cannot be found for the subject, then it may not be suitable for Wikipedia at this time.|}} The comment the reviewer left was:
Remove the chapter summary. Notability not established
Gbawden (talk) 12:18, 11 October 2016 (UTC)
- @Gbawden: Hi Gbawden, will the notability be established as per Notability for Books for my article? I'm sorry for the multiple messages to you - there is a lot of How-to material to go through and it gets a little confusing. Thank you. --Roshni Kanchan (talk) 14:46, 12 October 2016 (UTC)
- Hi. The chapters and notability aren't linked. The chapter summaries are unnecessary and make the article very promotional. For notability see WP:NBOOKS. I don't know how long the draft will stay I'm afraid but should remain in your sandbox indefinitely. Gbawden (talk) 19:01, 12 October 2016 (UTC)

Creating new article
editHey Roshni, I want to create an article on Dr Rajlakshmi SJ , an inspiring disabled girl in Bengaluru. Can u help me? TUSHAR KARMARKAR (talk) 15:04, 17 February 2017 (UTC)
- Hi Tushar, I am also a new editor whose total edits have been totally undone as of two days ago. :) But from the limited editor experience, I'd like to make two suggestions:
- Let the article be deleted. You can always create a new one when you have sufficient material on the topic.
- Please have a look at Sudha Chandran's article and learn about the formatting, sections required, references required etc and model your article on it.
- It doesn't appeal to me to copy text from one page on the internet and paste to another, for a person I've not seen, heard or know in anyway. However I'll be happy to review your completed draft article for language, completeness, formatting, neutral point of view and any other wiki-jargon I may have understood by then. :) Good luck!
- (P.S.
- Modelling your article after another article doesn't guarantee that it won't be deleted. But the alternative is to go crazy jumping from one how-to article to another and drowning in jargon!! So I'd still suggest to look at other articles.
- Do contact TheBetterIndia.com also - they are always on the lookout for such positive and inspiring stories)
