Milos Milos article
editWhy did you pointed the name of Carolyn Mitchell to Mickey Rooney article - Gaston28 16:13, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
- I wikified Carolyn Mitchell but it turns out she redirects to Mickey Rooney, which is kind of ridiculous. So for now it's best to leave out that link. Rstandefer 16:19, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
English-language sources should, but not must be used in preference to foreign-language sources. Therefore, when the original material is in a language other than English there should be clear citation of the foreign-language original, so that readers can check what the original source said and the accuracy of the translation.- Gaston28 16:39, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
- The "original material" is not in a language other than English. It's an event that occurred in the United States. I don't want to engage in an edit war with you on Milos Milos, but you must understand that you are doing the article a disservice but citing non-English sites that appear to just be homepages. As it stands now, the language in the Death section reads like it's something you happen to know. Rstandefer 16:47, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
Hi, Rstandefer. The fact that an "event" or murder occurred in the United States does not mean that only US sources can be used. On one side we have the official enquire, and on the other side we have a doubt in the official enquire and a lot rumors covered by the press that Milos was actually killed. For example this is the translation from notable newspaper Politika with the article of Radica Momcilovic with Petar Grujičić where he state the doubt in the official investigation: "It all started when Milos met Fransin Kanova, of Spain origin born in Maroco. Later she will became Nathalie Delon and he will go to US with some rich journalist. He will came back in a death case wearing a piece of cloth with this txt writhed on it " I am locked in the bathroom and waiting to be killed". That kind of things together with other facts provoked a lot of rumors in assassination but the police has never find the potential killers. There was a lot of notable journalist involved in covering of the subject specially in the 70s and 80s and almost every newspaper have articles including statements with the doubts of official enquire. - That's interesting and all, but how can I (and the rest of the English-only [or non-Serbian speaking] editors) verify it? I don't want to sound like a broken record, but WP:SOURCE backs me up on this. Rstandefer 18:31, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
