SMOS/Proba
editHi, thanks for updating information on this launch based on the source from Eurockot. Unfortunately, that source is out of date. It was originally scheduled for 2008, but was delayed by the knock-on effect of the Proton failure in March. Please be careful not to use out of date sources when updating these pages. Thanks --GW_SimulationsUser Page | Talk 17:47, 16 May 2008 (UTC) -- I see. Just for completeness, can you provide a cite about the delay of SMOS? I tried to find cites to confirm the 2009 launch, but couldn't find anything, so I trusted Eurockot's page.RubenGarciaHernandez (talk) 21:06, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
- I have nothing that explicitly mentions a delay, but I have already cited the mission's official website, which states 2009. Eurockot (and most of the other Russian or Russo-European LSPs) rarely update their website. --GW_SimulationsUser Page | Talk 14:18, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
-- Ok, thanks, I had missed that. Sorry! I'll be more cautious about the Russian LSPs from now on.RubenGarciaHernandez (talk) 21:06, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
2010 in spaceflight
editIn the future when updating, please do not place launches TBD in the middle of the list in-between those with launch dates. Launches in this situation at the bottom or if the quarter is known at the end of that quarter with the date listed as eg. 1st Quarter. -MBK004 01:40, 16 April 2010 (UTC)
Expedition 26
editI reverted your edit for Expedition 26. There is no information that there is a delay. If there was a delay as long as the one you indicated, then I am sure NASASpaceflight.com, Spaceflightnow.com would have something, and NASA and Roscosmos (Russian space agency) would have something on it. If you have a source then please add it and cite the change.--NavyBlue84 01:09, 2 October 2010 (UTC) Hi, I just added the two links I used. Also docking and landing dates are provided in the references, in case they should be included.
- The actual start date for expeditions is when the previous Soyuz undocks (ie. Expedition 25 started when Soyuz TMA-18 undocked, next Soyuz launches on October 7). So the way the dates were was correct. Also just as a little note so you know, there has been 2 parameters added to the infobox. They are StartDate and EndDate. Its less confusing and more accurate then LaunchDate and LandingDate, as there would need to be 2 sets of dates for each.--NavyBlue84 17:26, 2 October 2010 (UTC)
Thanks! The only change then is that the second part (with a crew of six) starts in December instead of November. The rest was all correct. See you!RubenGarciaHernandez (talk) 21:06, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
No problem! Also, don't forget to sign your posts, even on your own talk page. Its easier to keep track of who said what and when.--NavyBlue84 01:09, 3 October 2010 (UTC)
Spaceflight portals
editHello! As an member editor of one or more of the Spaceflight, Human spaceflight, Unmanned spaceflight, Timeline of spaceflight or Space colonisation WikiProjects, I'd like to draw to your attention a proposal I have made with regards to the future of the spaceflight-related portals, which can be found at Portal talk:Spaceflight#Portal merge. I'd very much appreciate any suggestions or feedback you'd be able to offer! Many thanks,

WikiProject Timeline of Spaceflight activity
editHello there! As part of an effort to determine how many active editors are present in the spaceflight-related WikiProjects, I have made some changes to the list of members of WikiProject Human spaceflight. If you still consider yourself to be an active editor in this project, I would be grateful if you would please edit the list so that your name is not struck out - thus a clearer idea of the critical mass of editors can be determined. Many thanks in advance!

WikiProject Spaceflight reboot
editHello there! As you may or may not be aware, a recent discussion on the future of the Space-related WikiProjects has concluded, leading to the abolition of WP:SPACE and leading to a major reorganisation of WP:SPACEFLIGHT. It would be much appreciated if you would like to participate in the various ongoing discussions at the reorganisation page and the WikiProject Spaceflight talk page. If you are a member of one of WP:SPACEFLIGHT's child projects but not WP:SPACEFLIGHT itself, it would also be very useful if you could please add your name to the member list here. Many thanks!

Disambiguation link notification for September 15
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Soyuz TMA-16M, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page RSA (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

editHello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Georges Lemaître ATV may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "{}"s and 1 "<>"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
