Hello

edit

Thanks for the typo fix :) Look, I didn't want to get into that debate, nor do I generally follow such disputes. As far as I am concerned, AD/CE doesn't matter much to me. However, the only thing that ever got me into it was your edit summary three days ago where it said "your secular POV". When you see something like that come up on your watchlist, red flags go up :)) Just wanted to let you know. But no worries, I won't be editing those articles in the future I think since I am simply too busy elsewhere, both in Wiki and real life. Cheers and happy new year! Era notation on Hinduism page.

edit

Please see my comment on Talk:Hinduism. I have reverted the page to the version using standard consistent notation - this is not an attempt at starting an edit war. If you really feel that BCE/BC and AD/CE look better than simply BCE or CE (or BC and AD), feel free to revert back, but please don't do it just to make a point. Thanks. The Simpsons Movie (official soundtrack)

edit

I can see this edit was good faith, but please ignore them. They are complete nonsense pages created by a mass vandal. Thanks! --AAA! (AAAA) 23:35, 14 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

I just came here to say the same thing. Thanks for trying to help by moving it to a better title.  :-) —David Levy 23:36, 14 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

TWINE

edit

Hi. I don't agree with your edit summary "it is unlikely Cleese will ever return as Q". I don't think it's safe just to assume that. However your edit was good. The article prev. suggested that he would indeed be returning. Your edit is more correct. Cheers. Mark83 19:23, 17 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

"Wikipedians against censorship" huh?!?

edit

A. I'm Jewish and this is an article about Judaism, not about Christianity. Saying "BCE" is thus inappropriate according to WP:DATE and WP:NPOV.

B. I don't see how using a more neutral and less Christianity-centric terminology is censorship. Can you please explain your opinion on this matter? Kari Hazzard (T | C) 19:11, 21 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

I think you have a problem with WP:NPOV. Please remember that Wikipedia is not a battleground and Wikipedia is not a soapbox. Kari Hazzard (T | C) 21:29, 21 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
I reiterate: Your opinion that political correctness is bad is fine, but Wikipedia is not a soapbox and does not exist to assist you in propogating that opinion. Kari Hazzard (T | C) 21:34, 21 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Little context in May 2008

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on May 2008, by Backtable (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because May 2008 is very short providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting May 2008, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note, this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate May 2008 itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --Android Mouse Bot 2 23:03, 15 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
