Welcome!

Hello, Russell Auger, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Articles for deletion nomination of Molecular processors

edit

I have nominated Molecular processors, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Molecular processors. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. andy (talk) 00:13, 17 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please slow down and work with us

Russell, what do you mean by saying "attempt to dominate" in your recent edit comments? Wikipedia has a well-defined editing policy that's based on collaboration, consensus, civility and the assumption of good faith among editors. No one is trying to screw the article up - we're trying to help. Please try to work with the process. It may be unfamiliar and seem pointless, but it actually works quite well.EastTN (talk) 17:21, 20 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

December 2009

edit

Please do not assume ownership of articles such as Molecular processors. If you aren't willing to allow your contributions to be edited extensively or be redistributed by others, please do not submit them. Thank you. andy (talk) 18:01, 20 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please stop assuming ownership of articles. Doing so may lead to disruptive behavior such as edit wars and is a violation of policy, which may lead to a block from editing. Please read Wikipedia:OWN#Use_of_signatures - it's very clear. Wikipedia articles are not signed because nobody owns them. andy (talk) 18:36, 20 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits. The next time you disrupt Wikipedia, you will be blocked from editing. Have you actually read the wikipedia policy I pointed out to you? You do not own this article and must not sign it.andy (talk) 18:55, 20 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

  • As a courtesy I must urge you to revert your recent edits and stop acting as if you own the article. Believe me, it won't do you any good to carry on this way. You will certainly be blocked from editing wikipedia. andy (talk) 19:31, 20 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
  • Russell, you are on the verge of being blocked. There are rules about reverting other editor's edits. In particular, the three revert rule puts a limit on back and forth revert wars. Please take the time to listen to what the other editors are saying. If you're willing to work with the community, editing Wikipedia can be a great experience. But it's important to understand that cooperating with other editors isn't just a good idea - it's absolutely necessary if you hope to accomplish anything as a Wikipedia editor.EastTN (talk) 21:18, 20 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
Pursuant to the warning above and a report at WP:AIV, I have removed your ability to edit for 24 hours. Please read the policy links given; especially Wikipedia:Edit warring. If you can agree to abide by this policy and begin to work with the community, this block can be quickly removed. Thanks. Kuru talk 22:44, 20 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Attempted User Abuse by above while contributing.--/Russell Auger PhD/ 23:10, 20 December 2009 (UTC)

Decline reason:

You were not contributing, you were edit warring. You also seem to be under the misconception that you own the articles you create. You were warned many times to stop this above, and chose to ignore the warnings. This block will expire shortly, when it does, do not behave in the same manner. Doing so will result in the same sanctions. Jayron32 02:17, 21 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Non-admin comment: As per Wikipedia policy, you do NOT own any articles so claiming that this article is yours is irrelevant. You need to read WP:OWN, WP:NOT and WP:3RR. Wikipedia is a consensus driven community, diverting from these policies is what got you in trouble in the first place. If after the block expires you claim ownership of the article again, I will think you will be blocked indefinitely. Momo san Gespräch 00:30, 21 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
