Edits about the USMC in Operation Desert Storm
editHello, Russellpayneusmc, and welcome to Wikipedia. My name is Eggishorn and I saw your questions in multiple places concerning the non-coverage of the USMC in Desert Shield/Storm. In fact, the Corps' involvement is covered in multiple places. The main article on Desert Storm is the Gulf War article, in which the Marines are mentioned in connection with the sections "Iraqi invasion of Saudi Arabia (Battle of Khafji)," "Kuwait's liberation," and "Oil Spill." that article also links to the Corps' own official Gulf War history in the "External Links" section at the bottom. In addition to those sections of the overview article, each linked article (Battle of Khafji, Liberation of Kuwait campaign, and Gulf War oil spill) all make the Corps' involvement clear. Also, there is an article on the Order of battle of the Gulf War ground campaign you may find interesting. If you feel there is still something missing after reading through these articles, then by all means please provide a specific suggestion as to the missing material. You will probably find that the Project on Military History can help you greatly. Good luck. Eggishorn (talk) (contrib) 16:42, 29 October 2017 (UTC)
