Music-related guidelines and templates

Just some suggestions for templates and guidelines for editing music articles (which should be very useful for you as someone as interested in editing music article as I am).

The biggest one would be WP:ALBUM, a wikiproject of users who also like working on album articles. This includes WP:MOSALBUM, a great manual of style on how to write and edit album articles. Additionally, WP:SONGS is a wikiproject specifically for single song articles.

Be sure that new information you add includes reliable sources. A good starting point for music-related sources can be found at WP:ALBUM/SOURCES.

Template:Infobox album and Template:Infobox musical artist are the two most commonly used infoboxes for music articles (as well as Template:Infobox song, for single song articles). Template:Track listing is often used for track listings (although it is also perfectly fine to use a numbered list, using the number sign (#) to build the list, as demonstrated at MOSALBUM).

I highly recommend taking a look through these various pages to familiarise yourself with standard editing practices on music-related articles. Many disagreements (such as ours) can easily be avoided if everyone is aware of how to edit these articles and how to use these templates.
