Request reason:
I would like my IP to be unblocked and I would like someone to review the conduct of the administrator who blocked my IP. I made a very basic addition to one page on Wikipedia which I thought would be of value to users and which I felt was in line and consistent with many thousands of other pages on Wikipedia which I have reviewed. I was stunned that the administrator not only denied my contribution but decided to block my IP. I sent him an email reasonably explaining my position and he responded in a rude and arrogant manner, his response was simply..."NO", he completely dismissed my email altogether without even acknowledging my arguments or giving me the benefit of the doubt or provide any explanation and implicitly refused to unblock my IP.
I'm new to Wikipedia and maybe my addition was not acceptable and I would have graciously accepted the decision to revert my change but to turn around and just block my IP with no explanation and no warning seems extremely draconian and agressive. I thought this website was supposed to be a community site not a site ruled by a few dictators. This was my first contribution to Wikipedia and needless to say my experience was less than desierable and I really hope that someone at Wikipedia investigates the rude behavior of the administrator who blocked my IP and I hope that a more reasonable administrator will please unblock my IP.

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
Mr. Virga has already spoken to the office. No changes as yet. Danny 19:00, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
