- Do a search on Google or your preferred search engine for the subject of the Wikipedia article that you want to create a citation for.
- Find a website that supports the claim you are trying to find a citation for.
- In a new tab/window, go to the citation generator, click on the 'An arbitrary website' bubble, and fill out as many fields as you can about the website you just found.
- Click the 'Get reference wiki text' button.
- Highlight, and then copy (Ctrl+C or Apple+C), the resulting text (it will be something like
<ref> {{cite web | .... }}</ref>, copy the whole thing). - In the Wikipedia article, after the claim you found a citation for, paste (Ctrl+V or Apple+V) the text you copied.
- If the article does not have a References or Notes section (or the like), add this to the bottom of the page, but above the External Links section and the categories:

Hello, I'm Danners430. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Hawaiian Airlines, but you didn't provide a reliable source. On Wikipedia, it's important that article content be verifiable. If you'd like to resubmit your change with a citation, your edit is archived in the page history. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. If you do have a valid source that states the programme has changed, then that source goes in the article instead of being hidden away in the edit summary. - No worries! You can't have articles on living people with no sources public, which is why I moved it to draftspace. Once you're done, you can move it back or submit it for review using the template on the draft. Also see WP:TRANSLATE for more info, especially the attribution section. - Hello, I am adding Tokyo-Narita due to All Nippon Airways operating the flight, it is a real flight with flight numbers NH833/NH834, the Tokyo-Narita article has Ho Chi Minh City as a destination while Tan Son Nhat International Airport doesn't have. The edit is sourced with ANA Holdings, which is part of All Nippon Airways. Ryanaviator (talk) 19:51, 16 July 2026 (UTC)

- this is the edit you made. You're not adding any sources, rather you're inserting the route in between two sources. The source that is tagged against the route, as you inserted the route in front of it, says nothing whatsoever about Narita airport - it's an article about new routes from Haneda.
