Removals from talk pages

edit

On this edit: Normally you should not remove messages, even your own messages, from any talk page other than your own. If, say, you put a message on my talk page but immediately realize that this was a mistake and that it should go somewhere else, you can remove it. And you can remove messages that are merely offensive (not messages that, however offensively or crassly, make a point). But that's about it. (Meanwhile, you're very welcome to remove messages from your own talk page, for example, this message.) -- Hoary (talk) 09:19, 6 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image File:MBRRACE-UK Logo 2015.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:MBRRACE-UK Logo 2015.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:26, 8 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Confidential Enquiry into Maternal Deaths in the UK

Please stop removing the categories and changing the See also, References, External links section order per WP:SECTIONORDER. References go after punctuation per MOS:REFPUNC. Thanks, Bamyers99 (talk) 15:08, 19 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hello Bamyers99, Many thanks for fixing the various bits and bobs on the article. This is the first time I have ever comprehensively written an article on a Wiki from start-finish, so I'm sure you can appreciate that knowing all of the standard Wikipedia formatting rules isn't easy, I did try and learn, and I'll keep trying to do so. The reason the changes were being reverted was because I had written the article in a separate document and then copy/pasted it into the Edit box. I didn't expect someone to be making edits around the same time as me (the article had been outdated and showing incorrect information/formatting for an awful long time), hence I was inadvertently overwriting your (correct) changes. It wasn't through malice. SAnthonyR

No problem. The reason I was editing the article is because I watch for articles that have all of their categories removed. --Bamyers99 (talk) 17:00, 22 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
