A belated welcome!

Sorry for the belated welcome, but the cookies are still warm!

Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, SM5POR. I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Though you seem to have been successful in finding your way around, you may benefit from following some of the links below, which help editors get the most out of Wikipedia:

Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page, consult Wikipedia:Questions, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there.

Again, welcome! John of Reading (talk) 07:32, 25 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Partially undoing previous edits

edit

I might as well try out this feature, per the suggestion above...

I spent some time investigating a layout issue with the article on Pope Leo XIII, but eventually left a note about the issue on the Talk page instead of fixing the problem myself. Unless someone has put a watchdog on that particular page, I now suspect my note may be sitting there for some time to come, so I invite you to give me some advice: What is the appropriate course of action in the situation at hand? After reading some of the earlier exchanges on that Talk page, I became even more hesitant to begin editing the article on my own.

By the way, thanks to Topsy, who brought my attention to that article in the first place! --SM5POR (talk) 06:44, 5 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

I've undone nearly all of the IP's edits, and have posted at the talk page. -- John of Reading (talk) 08:12, 5 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
