New defaultsort debate

  Resolved
 – Just an FYI.

As you commented in an old disucssion here, I thought this TfD might be of interest. Carcharoth (talk) 16:22, 26 May 2008 (UTC)

Thanks, I will definitely look into it. I'm really tired of various templates (Template:WPBIO, etc.) redundantly forcing editors to re-enter the DEFAULTSORT information. — SMcCandlish [talk] [cont] ‹(-¿-)› 06:53, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
Darn, I missed it. — SMcCandlish [talk] [cont] ‹(-¿-)› 06:58, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

Hi Stanton, in response to the question you posed here over a year ago, the correct spelling is "je ne sais quoi". It seems it hasn't been brought up your talk page yet. Just thought I'd let you know. Oliphaunt (talk) 09:14, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

Thanks. I'd forgotten. :-) — SMcCandlish [talk] [cont] ‹(-¿-)› 06:01, 7 June 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, I need to archive pretty badly. Very busy (out-of-country, actually) right now, though. — SMcCandlish [talk] [cont] ‹(-¿-)› 01:35, 19 June 2008 (UTC)

TOC preview

I want someone to make a TOC(Tables of content) template for wikipedia like this[1]. If you know how to make, then please put on your effort as it will be good for wikipedia and its users. *The image is an edited one*. I didn't find any template that would break or split the contents into half and put the other half on right side[2]. This template will utilize the blank space and will make the contents table easily accessible without scrolling down. THANKS. Harryroger (talk) 12:28, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

Something to think about. I'm not certain that the MediaWiki templating language is rich enough to actually pull this off as an automated thing; might have to be implemented by the MediaWiki developers. I am traveling for over a month, with very limited Internet access, so I'm not in a position any time soon to look into this. — SMcCandlish [talk] [cont] ‹(-¿-)› 01:11, 19 June 2008 (UTC)

AfD nomination of Minnesota Fats

  Resolved
 – Debate was closed by the time I looked at it.

I have nominated Minnesota Fats, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Minnesota Fats. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Ten Pound Hammer and his otters(Broken clamshellsOtter chirps) 16:22, 28 June 2008 (UTC)
