FNTSY moved to draftspace

edit

Thanks for your contributions to FNTSY. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. ... discospinster talk 20:29, 27 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Thank you! I’ll re-integrate sources within the text. Previously, I cited a source in each section, but another user removed them over credibility concerns. I’ll replace these with alternative sources from news outlets instead. For future reference - can you use videos on Youtube as a source? SRR111 (talk) 22:51, 27 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Discospinster I have made some improvements, please let me know what you think. SRR111 (talk) 01:00, 28 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Thank you, Idoghor! I'll work on improving the article format. I’m considering renaming the article to 'MJ Mytton-Sanneh' and including details about his professional alias 'FNTSY,' since there's substantial coverage under that name. Would it also be beneficial to create related articles to strengthen connections? For example, there isn’t a dedicated article for 'New Bounce,' despite their third-place finish in Series 5 of Britain's Got Talent. Additionally, it might help to update the Thriller – Live cast list, as the existing page only covers the 2018 cast, though the show ran for over a decade and featured a different original cast. MJ Mytton-Sanneh was part of UK boy band New Bounce that placed third in Britain's Got Talent (series 5). Britain's Got Talent averaged 10.9 million viewers per episode on live TV; many lower-placing acts have Wikipedia pages, with Britain's Got Talent being their only source of notability. MJ Mytton-Sanneh has also been part of West End musicals such as Thriller Live (which toured the world) and has also featured on The X Factor. He absolutely is notable enough to have a Wikipedia page. I acknowledge that in recent years there is not as much notability—but any form of notability is worth a Wikipedia page, as it’s meant to be timeless.
After creating this article, I will also create the article for New Bounce, as they are missing a Wikipedia page. SRR111 (talk) 23:35, 2 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
You should probably read WP:BLUDGEON and decide how useful your extensive comments are to the discussion. The community will decide. The question you need to consider is whether your commentary assists or hinders the discussion. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 20:07, 9 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
WP:BLUDGEON – "To falsely accuse someone of bludgeoning is considered uncivil, and should be avoided. Everyone should have the chance to express their views within reasonable limits. Sometimes, a long comment or replying multiple times is perfectly acceptable or needed for consensus building."
I am responding constructively to clarify points and demonstrate that the reservations about this article’s notability are not accurate. The article meets notability standards, with evidence showing significant coverage and relevance to warrant its inclusion on Wikipedia. SRR111 (talk) 20:13, 9 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
I have not accused you of anything. I have said You should probably read WP:BLUDGEON and decide how useful your extensive comments are to the discussion.
You must do as you see fit. It is intended as information for you that you may not have seen. I do not need it quotes back to me, I have read it, but you are welcome to do so if that pleases you. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 20:17, 9 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
