Hi, and welcome to Wikipedia! It looks like you're a bit of a drum corps fan. Feel free to help us improve the drum and bugle corps pages in any way you see fit. If you have any questions, I'd be glad to answer. Thanks! Mr Bound July 8, 2005 11:18 (UTC)
RE: Drum Corps photos
editI would love to have additional photos added to the DCI and general drum corps articles, but it's actually a little bit stickier than you might think. DCI recently published an article [1] about their photo policy, and it seems we'd be conflicting with their wishes without first getting permission from them or the corps photographed. We've run into this before, and we could stick them under fair use but I'd like to try and get permission if that's possible. Just wanted to let you know. You can also check out the Wikipedia image policies at Wikipedia:Image use policy.
Also, I've been considering kicking off a Wikiproject (WP:PJ) on Drum Corps stuff...any thoughts? Nothing concrete yet, but I think it would be a cool thing to do. Keep in touch. Mr Bound July 8, 2005 16:34 (UTC)
I would like to invite you to join the newly formed WikiProject Drum Corps, a WikiProject for the expansion of all things drum corps. If you'd like, add your name to the list of members, and lend a hand in some of the things we have yet to do! There's plenty lying around, but even a small contibution is very welcome. Hope to see you lending your knowledge to our growing collection of drum corps articles! Mr Bound 18:51, 15 September 2005 (UTC)
