Syrianska FC

edit

Hey man, great work with the history section, it looks so much better now. For the infobox the headcoach should be under manager, in Sweden the head coach has the traditional role of the concept known as manager in other leagues. If you look at Djurgårdens IF Fotboll who also has a manager and two head coaches, the head coaches are in the infobox as it should be. See http://www.syrianskafc.com/Default/tabid/61/Id/09e689ce-d307-4a80-8f11-2bbdbab9de62/Fortydligande-kring-den-nya-huvudtranaren-Bondarenko.aspx for an official statement from Syrianska regarding the role. Keep up the good work! --Reckless182 (talk) 18:51, 6 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hey I changed the kit in the infobox, I think it looks better, the colours might be a bit off but it was the only one I could find, take a look at http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Football_kit_body if you want to browse for more kit patterns, good luck! --Reckless182 (talk) 06:17, 7 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
Great, just ask me if you want any advice. I have been working on promoting Malmö FF for more than a year now, I have achieved GA class but it takes a lot of work to get the article to FA as I have learned. --Reckless182 (talk) 10:54, 7 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
Its not possible to add it on manually, but what you can do is to use photoshop and add the text to the kit and then upload the new image to http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Football_kit_body, as I understand it this is not any form of sponsor but the original name of the club? Sponsor names and commercial on the kit should not be featured but SURYOYE should be fine. --Reckless182 (talk) 11:01, 7 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
Pretty sure its OK if its not a company name. --Reckless182 (talk) 11:39, 7 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
No, unfotunately not. Take a look at Template:Football kit#Creating_and_naming_a_new_pattern for the general rules when creating a new pattern. By the way, are you interested in joining the Swedish taskforce of WikiProject football? Because I just need one more member to be able to create. If you are, just add that you are interested in joining beside your signature. Thanks! --Reckless182 (talk) 21:13, 8 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi again. I did a little copyediting. Some advice: Don't link something more than once in a section, also don't link to articles such as "English" which are very commonly known and does not need to be linked. Also for the colours and badge section I suggest removing the meanings of the colours on the flag as this really has nothing to do with the club. For the stadium you should try to explain why the stadium is also called Jallavallen, the current explanation makes no sense. Try not to copy from other articles as well. When you have feel that the article is fully written I would advice you to turn to Wikipedia:Guild of copyeditors and request for someone to copyedit the entire article. You could ask me but English is only my second language so I think they would do a better job. --Reckless182 (talk) 22:30, 16 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

I did some more copyediting for the history section and the lead. As it looks much better and there are enough sources for now I have upgraded the article from start class to C class. --Reckless182 (talk) 08:26, 17 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Football taskforce proposal

edit

I've created a proposal for a Sweden taskforce under Wikipedia:Football, see Wikipedia:WikiProject Council/Proposals/WikiProject Football/Sweden task force and support and join if you are interested. --Reckless182 (talk) 19:59, 6 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hey again, thanks for your support. Could you please specify if you are interested to join the taskforce or not should it be created beside your signature under "Support". Thanks! --Reckless182 (talk) 14:02, 7 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Working Together

edit

I believe we can all benefit from working together. And by all, I don't me just us, but our people, wikipedia, and the readers of this website. Our situation is a controversial one, but it shouldn't hinder progressiveness. Besides, we are from the same nation, weather we like it or not. Chaldean (talk) 15:54, 14 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Well ahono it is so many problems when it comes to our people. So much fighting over name, history, language etc. Some consider themselves arameans, other chaldeans and other assyrians. It is so many things that hinder our people, just look here in wikipedia. Fighting in all articles, arameans vs assyrians for the last 10 years. it is so sad that we are in this kind of situation SYRIANIEN (talk) 22:02, 16 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
Greetings. I work for Ishtar TV and I just wrote this article: [[1]]. Do you live in Sweden? It must be very exciting to have so many Seriyani teams to watch. Chaldean (talk) 09:05, 21 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
Yes i live in Sweden. Haha yes its exciting to have so many, but the most important of them is Syrianska FC, because they play in Allsvenskan, and the rest plays in lower divions. SYRIANIEN (talk) 09:48, 27 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
Yes, but I think more Assyrian/Syriac teams will go up in the top divisions, don't you think? Chaldean (talk) 18:22, 29 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Syrianska Dispute

edit

Shlomo ah, I think the article looks OK now. By the way you did a great job on the article, I hope this dispute doesn't discourage you from improving Syrianska related articles. I myself am a Syriac Catholic and a big fan of Syrianska  . bShaino.--Rafy talk 16:37, 14 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Haha no its okay, thank you :) I thought that it is important to improve the article, especially when Syrianska made the step from Superettan to Allsvenskan. Bsheino ahono :) SYRIANIEN (talk) 21:58, 16 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi

edit

Hi, just thought I'd like to help, and say that people are allowed to delete whatever they want from their own talkpage and userpage. Some things you can't write or keep on a talkpage or userpage, like If I was calling you very bad names on my talkpage, that could get deleted by ANI or whoever. But even if I put something good onto your talkpage you can delete it as you wish to. Other things you can't do is pretend to be someone else. Like faking their signature. that's naughty. Penyulap talk 11:08, 30 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

This is an example of faking someone elses signature, it's not allowed SYRIANIEN (talk) 00:00, 01 April 1704 (UTC)Reply

So really it's just just the obvious things like insults and threats, that aren't allowed. You can delete from your own talkpage anything you want to, so long as it doesn't create fake things like making it appear someone said something they didn't. There is also archiving talkpages, so things get deleted automatically, I'm happy to set that up for you if you want. Just ask or reply to this on my talkpage as you wish, or if you need other help that's simple. Penyulap talk 11:16, 30 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the information. One thing i did not understand was the faking identity part? Where have i been trying to fake someone others identity on a talkpage? SYRIANIEN (talk) 12:47, 30 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
I'm not accusing you of any wrongdoing, I'm just pointing out simple things that might be useful, I wasn't sure what is and what isn't useful, that's all. If I can help you steer clear of trouble we will both feel better. Penyulap talk 15:48, 30 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
Ah okay, now i understand what you meant. Thanks :) SYRIANIEN (talk) 13:23, 3 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
