In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. Disambiguation link notification for August 19
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of foreign-born samurai in Japan, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page William Adams (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Manual of Style for Japanese-related articles
editJust checking in from List of Japanese voice actors of foreign descent, an article you created. Please take your time to read MOS:JAPAN. A lot of the voice actors listed on the page were listed with family name first when they should be in Western order as per MOS:JAPAN due to Japan adopting Western naming conventions in international publications. The only exceptions to these is if they use Eastern order as a stage name (i.e. Utada Hikaru) or if they were born before 1812. lullabying (talk) 18:11, 6 May 2019 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Suzuhara Lulu
editHello Sacchisachi,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Suzuhara Lulu for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Ways to improve Ninja-Myanmar relations
editHello, Sacchisachi,
Thank you for creating Ninja-Myanmar relations.
I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:
Hi I’ve just reviewed Ninja-Myanmar relations. I can’t assess the sources as they’re in Japanese. However the article title is strange. Can I suggest that something such as Ninja presence in Myanmar might be more appropriate? Also it’s not clear whether the subject is really notable and it might make sense for the content to be merged into one or more other articles.
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Mccapra}}

- @Mccapra: Thank you for leaving the comments. I am grateful for your opinion. I'm not native English speaker, so I agree with you as for the article title. I also created a similar article, Ninja-Russia relations. The topics of this article are not limited to Ninja presence in Russia. What is the appropriate title of this article? I'm glad if you offer your opinion. As for notability of the article, I will reconsider that. Sacchisachi (talk) 15:03, 8 March 2020 (UTC)

editHello, Sacchisachi
Thank you for creating Akishibu-kei.
User:Doomsdayer520, while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:
Thank you for this new article. Note that an earlier editor suggested that this article could be merged to Shibuya-kei, which I think is worthy of consideration. However, that editor did not start a formal discussion so it is not crucial at this time.

DYK for Hoshimachi Suisei
editOn 13 September 2020, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Hoshimachi Suisei, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Hoshimachi Suisei. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Hoshimachi Suisei), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. The article List of Japanese castles utilised by foreign troops has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Fails WP:LISTN: Can not find any evidence that list topic is considered notable such that it has been discussed as a group or set by independent reliable sources
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. —Alalch E. 23:13, 9 June 2023 (UTC)

The article Foreign ninja has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Fails WP:LISTN: Can identify / ascertain whether there is evidence that list topic is notable such that it has been discussed as a group or set by independent reliable sources + list is defunct as it is limited to one member ("kanja" and foreign ancestors of ninja are not ninja and no reliable source appears to combine these things into such a list)
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}

The article Soga Seikan has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Dependent on a single source, can not find coverage outside that source (lacks coverage in multiple sources for WP:GNG), and there is no presumed notability for samurai just because they're samurai
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}

Rinoie Motohiro
editHi there. I noticed you created this page, but it's been in a very bad way without citations since it was created, with no online resources. I also cannot find a reference to this person online using the Romaji or Kanji, other than Wikipedia and other websites that have obviously copied the text.
Can I ask, how did you find out about this person? To me this reads as a translation of the Japanese page rather than independent research. Also, do you have any sources that can be accessed online to verify the things mentioned about them? John Smith's (talk) 12:24, 22 May 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for your comment, Smith-san.
- I almost forgot the situation when I wrote the article, but I may have checked original source Ja:閥閲録 via online service which we can access at public library.
- I think there is no detailed sources online, I instantly searched google books and scholar, there are a few sources but access is limited. Sacchisachi (talk) 15:11, 24 May 2024 (UTC)
- Hmm. What's your position - do you want the English page to stay up given you no longer recall how you sourced it? John Smith's (talk) 06:26, 4 June 2024 (UTC)
- I will go to the library again and confirm the source.
- It was my fault that I did not put exact page of the references. Sacchisachi (talk) 13:43, 6 June 2024 (UTC)
