Article Evaluations

edit

Is each fact referenced with an appropriate, reliable reference? Yes

Is everything in the article relevant to the article topic? Is there anything that distracted you? Yes

Is the article neutral? Are there any claims, or frames, that appear heavily biased toward a particular position? For the most part yes because there is contradicting arguments available, and no they are well balanced.

Where does the information come from? Are these neutral sources? If biased, is that biased noted? The information comes directly from opposing sides, the article itself is neutral but the information being used from both sides is heavily biased.

Are there viewpoints that are overrepresented, or underrepresented? Neither since this was a heavily watched issue during that time and since some of this still applies today.

Check a few citations. Do the links work? Is there any close paraphrasing or plagiarism in the article? Yes they do.

Is any information out of date? Is anything missing that could be added? The information used is up to date seeing that most of it occurred more than 3 centuries ago.
