Help!

edit

Hello, W.carter. I get quite confused that there are user Huon say me is Sockpuppet. I try to make edit in some article, and see an article about "Universidad Empresarial de Costa Rica" is quite interesting. There are a long discussion in the talk page, but I see the article look like quite non-neutral enough. I try to edit the article with neutral say, but Huon said will block me soon because I edited the article. Actually I just follow what the talk page say to edit the article. I don't think this is Wiki policy for new user. If the article should not be edited by new user, it should be mentioned in the top of page to prevent new user for editing. I hope I need some help about that, please! Safetylun (talk) 12:08, 5 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

If an editor suspects you of being a sockpuppet, there will be an investigation in which your account will be checked by a checkuser. If you are not a sock, then you have nothing to worry about. Most articles can be edited by all users, even the new ones, as long as the edits are referenced by reliable sources and are written in a way that is appropriate for an encyclopedia. Your edits were not, unfortunately. That is the reason they were removed but not the reason why you initially got a block-warning. You also seem to be involved in an edit war with another user, which can lead to blocking if this is prolonged. If you had added good reliable text + reference, none of this would have happened. Hope this explains things somewhat, w.carter-Talk 12:30, 5 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Thanks a lot! W.carter. I will try to improve my editing here. But one thing I don't understand, is it I involved edit war with another user? Could you tell me where? I will prevent to do that. Anyway, thank you so much for your help! Safetylun (talk) 12:39, 5 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

On the Universidad Empresarial de Costa Rica your name is in the middle of the adding and reading of text involving some other users as well. Do keep away from that article until things calm down there. w.carter-Talk 12:51, 5 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Thanks, W.carter. I will keep away from that article. Safetylun (talk) 12:57, 5 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
