This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in post-1932 politics of the United States and closely related people. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Proposed deletion of Western Troopers

edit

The article Western Troopers has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non notable domestic cricket team. Fails WP:GNG and doesn't cite any sources.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of The Inbetweeners characters, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Fingering (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 08:40, 25 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Your draft article, Draft:Western Troopers

edit

Hello, SamRathbone. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Western Troopers".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! DannyS712 (talk) 10:07, 5 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

My request for a clean slate.

edit

To whomever it may concern, this is Sam on his new account. I made this account when I was 8. I at first wanted to contribute meaningful articles as soon as I realised the world of Wikipedia was well and truly my oyster, yet soon used it for fun and became somewhat good at doing so. The problem was that I made myself a nuisance to other Wikipedians and readers of the site. I only realise this now as when I used this account for the last time, I was 12. I'm now nearly 16.

To anyone I angered in any manner, administrators, readers, the volunteers that constantly gave up their time to deal with a sixth-grader on his Raspberry Pi, I am sorry. I want to make that clear because no part of me views my conduct around that time as acceptable, justifiable, useful, or okay. I got myself into a situation that I should never have gotten into and I am angry at having done so.

I have matured greatly since this. I would like to request a complete clearing of my old user page and of my talk page, if that's considered okay. I can't get into this account because it's globally locked (damn), but I feel like it needs a refresh. Just to distance myself from the human I once was. Some sixth graders are stupid, some are annoying, I was both, in equal, and inquantifiable measure.

I want to start again. It would mean a lot if someone, anyone, could clear this account and make it visually not indicative of any past wrongdoing. I mean a LOT.

If anyone who's dealt with me in the past is seeing this, I want to offer you my profound apologies for all that was done. You gave up your time to try to deal with a kid whose age wasn't even in double figures and that goes a long way in terms of judgement of character. Well done, thank you, respect.

Sam, over and out. Buster of Ghosts (talk) 18:19, 25 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
